Now, certainly nobody can say that the IAF Technical Evaluation Teams did not do their work well.

Only some very non-technical people would claim so.
While I cannot accept or decline the claim of the origin of the report, its content is testament to accurate assessments for capability. What is lacking though.. is the report on cost & maint.

Well not really. Gripen still makes a much more economical and modern fighter than either European jets. Swiss are not really looking for people with big political clout and Sweden's neutrality and non-interventionist attitude best suits their own political quietness.

I'd say Gripens are the best option for a calm and quiet country like Switzerland.

How the hell could they allow this to be leaked? Especially when we are still in negotiations with French. This actually strengthen the French hands, they might demand more given they now know that we liked their flight better than anyone else's.

Edit: Nothing classified or anything, just general rankings and conclusions.

But the Rafale is way ahead from the Swiss evaluation. It's superior in almost all metrics to the Typhoon, and certainly superior in all the metrics to the Gripen.
