The Pakistani State is Collapsing at a Very Fast Pace!

The state is not collapsing,
i would say it is fast realizing and is going to emerge winner...

What we must learn is that it was the Army's few select officers,
wanna be angrez, whose children are settled abroad ,,,

those are the FA pass imbeciles who wrecked this country.
on American's behest.

People have a choice.

Face inflation or eat biryani

They choose biryani ..

Dictators and parties like maryum Nawaz league live on perception..you going to their jalsa even for a biryani is what they use to stay in power.

Imagine is no one had showed up how much pressure that would bring onto the electables and Maryum league

Prime example is what happened to once mighty and undefeatable ANP(Previously banned as well)

It use to win seats even in Karachi
Know depsite biryani no one shows up

Dont worry,
things will change.

Central punjab and its cronies are the root cause of the problem. they are successfully killing baloch pathan karachiites. Punjabi mootar league nawaz PMLN installed Ishaq dar after taking resignation from miftah ismail. I don't find difference between miftah and dar except one is from karachi and other is from punjab.

No one cares about the ordinary people of Central Punjab either. Come out of your misgivings and only then you will be able to understand the nuances of the ongoing shift in the conceptualization of the democratic process in the country. What had hitherto been a battle between competing elites is being transmogrified into a power struggle between general masses and the hegemonic political elite.
We may disagree they do care..

Without common folk of central Punjab no one can stay in power..

It's hybrid regime and you need votes that have to come from somewhere

This regime will collapse if they lose majority of central Punjab support

It will stay if they can hold on atleast 50% seats/support

You are mistaking"caring" with "caring"

No body cares about anyone apart from elite but they definitively "care" about how the people of central Punjab will vote or behave ..

Lahore, fasilabad, qasur uptill shaiwal
All of these cities matter..

Whoever commands support here commands Pakistan

No matter how eliteistan a country becomes it can't survive without Lahore

Karachi doesn't hold power because it's divided and it's not a city for any practical purposes

,.,.
The Supreme Court will decide whether the Constitution of Pakistan is to remain, or expire.
The entire nation is with the Chief Justice and the Supreme Court.
If Article 224 cannot be implemented, the basis of representative government will be lost.
If they are ready to hold elections on October 18, what is the guarantee?
If elections are not held in Punjab and KPK, Can't do it in Pakistan either.

Look where Pakistan was heading with IK. These jahil families couldn't let Pakistan progress like this so had to step in. Back to the darkness you go.

IKs dominant personality has definitely made foreign leaders utter more words in favor of Pakistan than it deserves.

The Pakistan army has been taken over by the Sharif and Zardari criminal enterprises. They’ve become so wealthy that they can buy off the generals. Pakistan’s policies are now being made for the benefit of the generals and their criminal masters. There is no other rhyme or reason for their behavior.
Unfortunately you are wrong in every sentence.

A political hegemony cannot take over military since military has made itself more powerful which led to coups in past and this statement tells it all why military doesn’t need politicians to buy them off or get taken over with. Military gets good amount of perks, while in office they get access to subsidised rates so getting bought off is not lucrative. The governing policies for military and politicians have always been different.

The Pakistani State is Collapsing at a Very Fast Pace ?

Yup, been 75 years and counting, keep counting and ultimately pass on the counter to your grandkids.

counter stops in 1971 and then continues. it will might stop at western border in future but don't worry north and center of Pakistan will be the real Pakistan.

A few factors nullify your point. The nuke to prevent a cut off and then modernisation/expansion of light forces in the past decade for western theatre and lastly Chinese investment.

Pak army is not enjoying the support of 65 or likes of later but is now worse than 71 in some areas.
Ayub installed marshall law, Zia suspended some articles of the constitution, whereas Mushi worked with a hybrid regime, then kiyani or bajwa were practising an indirect marshall law.

SO things are not the same and it is deteriorating as the economy is also in the worst conditions.

Comparing apples with oranges, good on you.

There are few types of support systems in place with Pakistan and its military, mostly from China but externally and within Pakistan too.

As for the collapse, we are all here, let’s see when this wet dream gets fulfilled, many have been waiting for 75 years.

The problem is that even though PTI will win most of the seats, that is by no means and indication that most of the people support them in Punjab.

Instead, it is very much the case that the support for PMLN is still there but reduced by like 10-15%. That still leaves like 20% of Punjab supporting PMLN. Just like when PMLN used to sweep Punjab, hey also only had 35% of total voter support.

It comes down to maintaining life style. On one hand you have the corrupt politician/ establishment alliance that want to maintain the current system and status quo that is their bread and butter. On the other you have Imran Khan and the public that is sick and tired of these harami chores and want change.

It's like playing chicken to see who blinks first. The establishment and PDM have purposely, deliberately and criminally destroyed the economy because they know it effects the poor and not them. They wrongly think the public will back off and stop supporting Imran Khan and just want someone to bring inflation down and improve their lives. Historically our public doesn't come out to protest for their rights and if they do they don't have staying power to see things through. Nothing a few bags of free atta can't fix.

All this serves the establishment just fine because they can continue to manipulate the weak PDM and play them against PTI...divide and rule. If things really get out of hand they will step in and declare martial law...perhaps this time abrogate the constitution as well and stay for a long time. There will be no civil war...people will protest for a few weeks and then just go home.

Let's see what decision the Supreme Court makes and most importantly how the current regime reacts to it as the decision is expected to support the constitution and law. That will really determine where we go from here.

I actually disagree with you here. I don’t see PMLN winning from any of these cities if elections were held today.

I hope so...

It is not a continuous trend. It has ups and downs and takes time. No body wants it, but the direction is towards it. We have lost the eastern wing, some areas in Kashmir, Kashmir case, writ in Balochistan, etc heck, in Punjab. Any idea India was changing the Indus treaty unilaterally?

Anyway, the writ in Punjab means qabza mafia, uncontrolled price, thana culture, etc. It is like having small states which are operating on their own, just short of rebellion. In due time, it can occur too.

I reiterate that Aurangzeb died in 1707, but Mughal Empire's total collapse took 140 years more. Nonetheless, Audh/Awadh, Bengal, and Lakhnao immediately gained independence from Dehli after Aurengzeb.

So, the seeds are there. Let's see whether we go towards unification or dismemberment.
