The real solution to the Afghanistan problem

So what you are suggesting it for Pakistan to spend precious resources on Afghanistan. Fairy tales like these don't even good look on paper.
Didn't USSR, America do the same? What was the result?
What happened to Afghanistan's own leaders who tried to modernize it?

While Pakistan cannot find a solution to any of Afghanistan's problems but must learn to deal with the fact that this is a perpetually violent society that doesn't move on with time. Development or any kind of help doesn't make any difference for them.
Business relations are not one way. It helps both ways. Its not about loving caring about a nation. Its just business. In past decades Afg had US money. We should have grabbed that opportuinity. It was a win win. Our business community could have grabbed a lot from it. And meanwhile established business relations with there businesses.
We dont understand this concept thats why we are where we are. And we will remain so. Businessmen are the leaders. Not politicians or Military. Its all about money.
America and USSR were Occupying forces. And also USSR collapsed because of its internal problems. USA had no allies in the region Pak Iran China all wanted USA out. Thats why It was all down the drain.

Is it viable though? Can a federation succeed? What about Kabul?
I think it could succeed yes, but the question is if it's possible to establish that region as independent and then also control the borders from Afghan attempts to reclaim it.

Terrain will have to be taken into account and many other things, won't be cheap and they will require morale to fight. I think US or China would have to throw their weight behind it.

Afghanistan issue poses a bigger risk to Pakistan than even India right now. Realistically they are focusing on themselves and chances of war are low considering nuclear threshold, and the main dispute is the areas surrounding Kashmir.

Afghanistan has dreams of total disintegration of Pakistan and the threat must be completely neutralised, not dragged along with temporary solutions.

This thread shows how uninformed and devoid of ground realities most of the keyboard warriors are. Terrorism is something we exported to Afghanistan. Anyone seen pics of 60s and 70s Afghanistan? They were liberal and we made 70,000 medrassas around the border areas, trained and brainwashed mujahideen and religious extremists and now keyboard warriors here crying about terrorism. You cannot fix a problem untill u really understand it. People of Afghanistan see taliban as Pakistani proxies and those proxies play gimmicks to show they hate Pakistan. Just like PPP here doing drama baazi to show they r anti india or something oir army does to show as if they hate india.
That map is also stupid because the guy doesnt even knkw what he is talking about, he doesn't even know demographics of Afghanistan and drawing maps while jumping in his chair. The south, west and east of Afghanistan is all pashtuns, how will u divide them? The other ethnicities are mostly in north west and central Afghanistan.

The afghans meaning pashtuns love the victim card

They have been creating problems for everyone for decades now and can never accept any blame

This country is a black hole. But then again, when they had opportunities to progress, they were corrupted, lazy and still divided by tribal mentality. They wouldn't even fight for their own freedom and country. They wouldn't even fight to protect their women and children! They preferred to escape without their families

None of them are innocent, you'll realise this after interacting with enough of them

No one ever got anywhere by being soft, every successful nation or empire was built upon severe immoral acts at some point. Being soft gets you trampled over, some people only know force.

I have interacted with many of them over the past few years. What you mean "none of them are innocent"?

This amount of hate is not healthy for you. What makes you different from the Pakistan hating afghans. That claim that all Pakistanis are responsible for the mess in Afghanistan. We did after all support some factions of the Taliban. Are you responsible for that as a Pakistani or do you blame our generals responsible?

They are all 100% supportive and complicit in supporting terrorism in Pakistan and seeing the destruction of Pakistan. It brings them joy.

In fact they do not accept a leader who does not consider Pakistan an enemy.

It's perfectly healthy, it's the same amount of hate they harbour for us and it's to protect our interests. Every Pakistani should feel the same, it's a matter of survival.

Secondly do not blame us for the mess in Afghanistan, go study their history before giving us a lecture. This proxy war was started by them, an invasion was initiated by them, all of our interference was retaliation to protect ourselves. So the only ones responsible are Afghans themselves.

Grow a pair of balls and stand up for yourself.

Nukes might be a solution for them. These people don't want to progress. They don't want to understand. And the mullahs now make them even worse.
Because they never abandoned tribalism - not that Pakistan fared any better but because of both terrain and somewhat better road links leading to higher urbanization there is slightly more progress in terms of education and goals.

Afghanistan is still in the 8th century tribal raider mentality and can only be united under draconian rule.

It is Pakistan and America's fault that those idiots can't stop killing each other and act civilised. Look at how you treat your fellow Hazaras and Tajiks, the Afghans were already radicalized to begin with and foreigners took advantage of it.

The rest of the ethnicities slaughtered each other in civil wars.

Ahmed Shah Massoud massacred Hazaras in Afsar. Dostum did crazy stuff as well.

Afghan Pashtuns literally worked to genocide and persecute them. Raping their women, settling in their lands, and telling them that "Tajik is kuffar" with the purpose of Afghanising the country.

In 1842 Hazaras in the vicinity of Ghazni approached British and expressed their wish and desire that British invaders sould exterminate the Pashtun race and repopulate the country (eastern Afghanistan) with Indians and Hazaras.

Henry Rawlinson in his diary (unpublished) writes:

"The Huzareh all visited us and did their best to supply us. They have been fighting with the Afghans (read Pashtuns) in this district for a long time and they now took advantage of our presence and of our recent success over their enemies to fire all the villages which the Ghilzyes had deserted.
All their observations betrayed the most inveterate rancour against the Afghans and they seemed to hope that we should aid in exterminating the Ghilzye population of Karabagh (who happen to be a grand Pashtun tribe).
The recent events at Cabool, Ghuznee served them as text books for inveighing against Afghan perfidy, Afghan cruelty and Afghan cowardice and they seriously asked if it was not our intention to exterminate the Afghan race and repopulate the country with Indians and Huzareh colonists.”

All ethnicities hate each other in Afghanistan.

I learned from a documentary that one of the Afghan kings before Pakistan was toppled because he was on a modernizing drive. He brought a car from UK and there was a rumour among locals that he is bringing a machine that makes soup of humans, something like that. Who needs to export backwardness there.

The person who overthrew King Amanullah was Tajik and he did takfir on everyone who supported him, leading to the civil war in the 1920s.

To me this seems like a natural alliance. The hate against Pakistan in Taajiks was politically engineered through others, so they collectively followed the narrative.

Pakistan supported Ahmed Shah Massoud in the 1970s then like usual turned on him.

Many Tajiks are in the Taliban too, the only way for your plan to work is for Tajikistan to serve as a base for Tajiks. And Tajikistan isn’t interested in Afghan Tajiks.

merge Afghanistan with pakistan :-D
send all "so called educated" afghanis to europe india usa etc
