What's new

The U.S. just sent a carrier strike group to confront China

Our navy surrounded the carrier immediately after it entered the South China Sea! Is it a safe distance for the carrier? Depends on how nice China wants to be  Remember the anti-ship ballistic missiles have a minimum range too.
What are you going to do, in peacetime, in international waters? Don't be rediculous.

Haha, last year alone the total number of the Chinese traveling overseas was more than 120 millions, more than the total number of Americans who hold passports (110 million out of 313 million). This is the FACT.

Average Chinese tourist spent more than American in 2014.

On Topic: Now China just decided to build an even Bigger island in SCS. China to build a 15 KM2 island on Paracel Islands, expending the current landmass by 10 folds.

Please say "Thank You".

Since when did submarines have "gunsights"?

Chinese submarines must really be from out of this world.
Not really. With the Hainan Incident, PLAAF pilots did not know how to use missiles or guns, so to bring down the American aircraft, the PLAAF trained its pilots in ramming tactic. It worked. The American aircraft was severely damaged and had to make an emergency landing on Hainan.

PLAN subs will probably employ the same ramming tactic. Since a sub cannot chase a ship, it must be what is called an 'ambush predator', meaning positioning itself before a ship's path. That is what PLAN sub commanders will do, position themselves in front of the American fleet, wait just the right moment, then run full speed into the American ships.

That is what those gunsights are for. Basically, there is a giant cross on the sub and all the sub's commander have to do is put the American ship in that cross, then give the command to the oarsmen 'Ramming speed...!!!'

So China is clearly militarizing the SCS by sending defensive Chinese vessels into what U.S.A. calls international waters near Chinese island but U.S.A. is clearly not militarizing the SCS sending their largest offensive military assets into waters nowhere near the U.S.A. right before the Chinese frontdoor.

Somethin smells biased here. Im not yet sure what it is...

It all comes down to the fact that China is militarising those islands and the US cannot make China stop it.

US wants to control everyone through its power. But as other countries get stronger and more independent, it's ability to control everything diminishes.

Russia, China, Iran, North Korea are not prepared to bow down to American thuggery. These 4 countries will negotiate very strongly.

Countries like Japan, South Korea, India are prepared to worship the US as a god.

US elites wants control, when they see that control diminishing, they use their diminishing power.

Look at Donald Trump, US elites can't control him so he is considered a threat to the elites' world order.

It's all about control. China has reached a stage that it's comfortable in challenging American dominance. This is just the start.

Remove India from that list. Our DM clearly stated that India isn't joining any other nation for things which doesn't matter to India.

In civilian and space techs, they ( USA) right now seems to be ready to cooperate and that's something which will be done.

But in defence and strategic issues, India and US are not one.

Its mere buyer and seller relationship with India being the buyer and US seller.

How exactly do you 'surround' a USN CBG?

If you do manage to do it, its because they let you. Not because you can. Important to understand the difference.
If they don't allow China to surround them, what can they do? Attack Chinese navy? With the support of land based missiles, the chance for this CBG to disappear is also high.

Also if US wins, US may just only sink some Chinese ships and China will continue to build more ships to do the same; but if US loses, US will be forced to move outside first island chain and China will unify Taiwan right away. The risk/gain ratio is way too high US to take any actions.

China is always well calculated in this kind of actions. Under Mao Thought, never take any actions when unprepared. China will never gamble on wars like what India did in 1962.

Ya, never.

In World War II, the steel production of Japan was only one fifth of United States; but now the steel production of United States is less than one province of China. China is the No. 1 Manufacturing power, not United States. The major reason that United States is falling is because many Americans such as you sleep on your ancestors' glory and do nothing.

During last two decades, United States only made breakthrough on soft sides such as Facebook which could be copied very easily. But on the Manufacturing sides, you almost failed on all major projects such as F-35, space shuttles, rockets, infrastructures. On many technologies such as rockets, you are not as good as 30 years ago.

United States always whines about intellectual properties because during last two decades you made nearly no breakthrough which China couldn't copy easily.
