TTP's Faqir Mohammad vows to fight Pakistan

We need to seal the border ASAP. This guy literally strolled in and is now making war speeches. The question is why was he allowed through?
Army has to answer. They are manning pak-afg border.
Or did he hid in some secret box in a tractor trailer.
Army is accountable. Till now they dont have armed drones and/or expertise to target these types of goons.

What happened to all the chaps defending the Afghan Taliban on this? Ankhein khul gayein?

TTA and TTP are ideological twins and will help eachother.

The repeated messaging from IEA is not coming due to some random thought, rather as a result of talks and commitments.
Be patient people before just emotional and rapid criticism.

We don't have time to be patient. We have lost a lot of men because of this patience

Time to go on offense in every manner

IEA will lose it's credibility if they go against TTP, especially in eyes of the Mehsud fighters. Especially since they're at a critical point in their history.
We need a security grid that monitors literally every valley in the region. Use drones and build walls.
You can use aerostat for that purpose like Americans did in Afghanistan.

Where are our soldiers on the border?
@PanzerKiel do you think ttp will emerge as a big threat under IEA controlled Afghanistan?

Yeah, I've been advocating for WAMI and other airborne surveillance assets in the region for quite a time now.
Things like HAPS, Aerostats, Drones and whatnot. Too bad we keep fighting an unconventional war, conventionally.
Seems we have endless money for fighter jets, frigates and tanks, but none for a security grid near our borders.

Bro you do that and challange IEA which has fought all along against foreign invasion, you ruin you chance of ever having peace again.

Watch the interview which kalaskra did on other thread ( ignore the host, he is like the many keyboard warriors here with foot and mouth disease).

This might lead to state requiring to deploy additional air and ground assets along the Pakistan Afghanistan border

maybe we'll have to establish additional cantonments along the border , lets see

Did they succeed or just gained some time, exactly like we only gained sometime by operations in FATA?
This scrotch earth policy only benefits who its used against in these type of wars. Our operations only led to fertile grounds for TTP and PTM during Raheel Sharif era.

We need a comprehensive approach with IEA on board, this is the first time that we are seeing light at the end of tunnel.

Doing this will only antagonize Afghan Taliban who have fought against foreign invasion in their country. Antagonize them and you will always be at war. We need to handle things delicately and reach a concensus with IEA.

We will have to use military might after concensus not like before of trusring the Americans of securing the border.

I think time has now come to openly go after TTP in Afghanistan. Afghan Taliban will have to prove through action that TTP assets are taken out.

You can't nurture snakes and think they won't bite you. The talibs are definitely giving support to their TTP brothers.

Can't compare the US experience in Afghanistan with that of what has happened in ex-FATA regions. The US was truly a outside power in another country , where as ex FATA regions were and are part of the Pakistani federation.

The way forward is have these regions connected and integrated into mainstream Pakistani society , they are no longer 'ilaqa ghair' and they have to be brought into the mainstream Pakistani social fabric. Merging of FATA into KP was the first step towards this , there is more work to be done.

It'll be another 20-25 years before we start seeing the new generation of students from these regions reaching higher up positions in the government and armed services , so we have to prep for the long haul.

Maulvi Faqir or other such individuals in the long term are not relevant , in the short term yes we have to keep the military options on the table and use as required.

They are deliberately doing this to trigger some people.

Taliban have not fully come in power and are still fighting off resistance and ISKP. Heck they just took over kabul on 15th and american forces are still present for withdrawl etc. It is too esrly to ask them to open an another front.

Let the governemnt form and negotiations happen.

Have you not noticed the entire indian accounts are trying to sabotage relations.

Sofar Taliban have only shown positive signs, have patience.

Dont rush into conclusions. Enemies of yours are relying on your emotions and recklessness.

Time will give you answers and clarity.
