Velayat Destroyer readies for Launch , based of Alvand Class Frigate

Tobe precise we have three class of warship in persian language . One is razm-nav or battleships another is called nav-shekan that is all other millitary ships that can launch missile and cannon and .... the trsnslation for this one would be Destroyer . And the last class or aircraft carrier are called nav-e-havapeyma-bar so this argument about what this ship should have been called is pointless .

Well it depends on the weapons on board , I am hearing Iran is aiming to get its new Frigate/Destroyer force to 10 units
this will certain enhance their standing in World politics no doubt

4 moj class frigates are getting built now.even velayat is already built.but yet they have not completed AESA radar for it.
beside that Iran is working on loghman class destroyer.first loghman class destroyer(IRI Persian gulf destroyer)will be delivered by 2017/8 i think.
