What's new

15 year old boy made a history to become soldier of Pakistan Army

My wish : May ALIMIGHTY grant this little weak boy good health, so one day he serve our nation and army.

lucky boy ........

I would say its a lucky nation and a lucky Army to have such sons of the soil amidst us!!! Most others would wish for things more routine. His wish was to join the defenders of Pakistan which, had he not been afflicted by cancer, may have been fulfilled if he was fit and well, yet it was not to be. May the Almighty have mercy on his soul and give him complete recovery from his ailment.

A very moving gesture by the Army as well!

Well,yes he made history,but no offense,its a shame.
This tells about the teachings in Pak.
A small boy,who should be cherishing is youth and childhood is serving the military.
Offensiveness instilled at the very beginning.
Sorry,but i am against it.

i beg to differ you... he is not joined any terrorist organisation..he may have joined because he has the will and respect for arm forces. might be his family members is from army. this is very natural for people having army background.

You seem to have missed the whole point. He is not "serving". It was his wish to see the inside of the Army and this was granted to him by the Army chief for a day. It seems the boy had an interest in serving in the armed forces yet his ailment got in the way. "Make a wish" foundation facilitated this wish of his for a day. You may be against it, but its nowhere close to being a shame. It should be lauded!

And please don't go off on an ignorant tangent about "tells about the teachings in Pak."

You have no idea what we are taught. Had the Indian Army done the same, I would have lauded that as something positive as well.

Not exactly.

Millions join or atleast lean towards joining their own military. i am sure there are many inside india who do the same or else you wouldnt find much merit to feed your military.

Kids have dreams, some want to join business others like to do more comfortable jobs and then a few wish to join the armed forces. And this kid was ONE of the latter. These 'potential' wishes go mood changes and ultimately one may not do what he has been looking forward to when he was young.

So there's no need to make a mockery out of the issue. The initiative is unique and must be empathized. Seriously you have no idea what people should and can wish for, it's none of your business.

Dont blame our teaching or else, i can bet you wouldnt find even a shuddar to lead your military!

May Allah's blessings shower upon him and may he make a full & speedy recovery ... Aameen!

A very humane gesture by the PA.

Kayani seems to be growing in stature with each passing day. Ever since he took over the reigns of the PA, he has hardly made a wrong move.

Oh he will be alright IshaAllah, trust me on that. As for an armed forces career in the future, that is a longshot, a very longshot.
The prolonged use of chemo and steroids badly damages the body. It makes bones and muscles weak. The immune system is never the same again and for the first few post treatment years, expect him to get every bug flying around. But he will make it, just pray for him to be a success in whaterver he does.
Had I known about this make a wish organisation 10 years ago, then just mebbe a back seat ride in a Viper could have been possible.

A nice gesture by PA and especially by Mr Kayani.. If there would be such a special gesture by any celebrity in the world then whole media would be running behind them while such kind of inspiring news is generally missed...

Poor kid, such a simple dream. This world is a cruel place and our God is a cruel one too. I will not rescind this statement.

Pakistan Zindabad!
