Featured US warned India that MiG-29s and Su-30s wouldn’t help against China

It is not the wrong fighter rather it is the wrong enemies that they have selected.

They should try fighting with Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives instead of picking a fight with China and Pakistan.

"Your neighbour is your natural enemy and the neighbour's neighbour is your
friend"; Kautilya said,
I quote.

For those who are coming across this name
for the first time: Kautilya, also known as Chanakya, was born in 4th
century BC in eastern India. He served as adviser to King Chandragupta of
Mauriyan Emperor.

India follows the Chanakya state-crafts and it is a part of their diplomacy...a failed one, one of duplicity and deception, falsehood and lies.

As long as India keeps on following the Arthashastras or policies enacted as statecraft's by this Chanakya, there will always be problems for India, as these state policies cannot work these days, maybe at that point in time it was fine, not now.

Wiki says that he was born in Taxila.

Its payment Russians are given to get the audience with Chinese. Nothing more nothing less.

Yes - but the Apache fleet isn’t ready to being pressed into combat because the crews are still training and really not required for this to escalate beyond its current status.

What is required is for the IAF to act as the Bullwark for “aggressive diplomacy” when soldiers are falling to their deaths from cliffs.

The Russians are only selling their monkey models(actual term) to India and they aren’t happy with it. Attempts to get the Derby-ER are underway but it will require millions which as has been pointed out earlier - the paper IAF budget doesn’t have left after processes and other allocations.

Have read it somewhere that russians sell knock-down versions of the products they use to foreigners ...

How is JAS-Gripen in relation to F-16... Read about it and found it very potent... If acquiring more f-16 is a problem , how about go for them ?

They need a new PM, a few squadrons to bolster fleet strength won’t alter the balance of power or change the real source of failure: their leadership.

And they have a valid and periodic way of doing just that, also.

Ouch, can’t you let us have our fun for once? I was hoping Modi wins another turn and we can capture Ladakh ourselves, build DHA Leh etc.

Also, are you insinuating we don’t have a process for this? Who do you suppose selected IK besides awam, and awami representatives in MQM and PMLQ who are their coalition partners? :what:

The Indians have their process, and we have ours, each unique in their own ways Sir, no insinuations needed. That is all I said. Some could say one is more periodic than the other, but it is not my place nor desire to entertain such lines of thought here.

On topic, the defense procurement process is typically Indian that survives such changes in leadership, luckily.

There is a reason why India has a large fleet of Su 30s.
It’s a large aircraft with very good future upgradability, the radome is large enough to accommodate a good aesa radar in the future. The range is excellent with good ammunition carrying capacity.
India will go for midlife upgrades for entire su30 fleet in the year 2024 onwards.
The life of su30s in IAF will be till 2050 minimum.
