What is happening to us?
There is more that unites us than divides us, I am reminded of the Shelly's Sonet "Ode to Ozymandias"
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the dessert.

Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
