Disagree completely. Muslims are probably the most incompetent at running Govt, and have historically made the worst rulers. You dont have to look much past the state of South Asian Muslim countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh to see how bad Muslims are when given power (argument can even be extended to other places like Afg/Arabs etc).

Islam as a religion is not fit for political sustainability. Muslims always end up slaughtering one another anyways, like we saw in 1971, current day Pak/BD. Also, Islam promotes intellectual backwardness, like treating women as 2nd class citizens by making them wer tents, which further negatively affects the political setup of whatever nation it inhabits. There is also no freedom associated with Islamic countries, you say something hich Muslims dont agree with, and KABOOM as the case is in Pak/BD today. That is another example of how Muslims/Islam promotes intellectual backwardness.

Hindustan had reached the pinnacle of its magnificence under the Mughals. Only when the Muslims are back to rule Hindustan can she hope for greatness. The Hindus are a timid people more used to commercial activities and menial functions of the society rather than ruling. India: 10th largest economy by GDP, 3rd largest by PPP, G20 member, BRICS member, one of the largest middle classes, still growing with over 5 % despite global recession, has a stable democracy, never experienced military rule, many new global players are rising out of India, one of the top destinations for FDI etc etc etc...

Pakistan: Cannot get its country under control, threat of military dictatorship, undemocratic, among the top in the failed state index, huge influence of radical groups etc etc = probably the worst conditions for economic success.

No state can achieve greatness by feeding off its citizens to achieve military greatness instead of feeding its citizens. India may become the 4th largest spender on bombs and guns in next 6 years and claim greatness, however the same country ranks 135th on international human development index and is home to one of the largest malnourished population on earth.

It applies to Pakistan as well, as we spend more than we can afford to but Pakistan isn't willing to claim greatness nor do we have any hegemonic desires. This is why i said that India should invest in its citizens instead of buying arms, or keep a balance to achieve real greatness. For example Indian defense budget is around 36 billion a year while the Education budget is around 9-10billion.I am no friend of India, i would rather have India carry on with ignoring development of its own citizens which will do to India what no enemy can.

About the less than 2$ theory,for an Indian, earning 2$ per day,which is roughly equal to INR 100/- and PKR 100/- is sufficient to lead a decent life.
