KSA is starting from scratch for Metro they already have railways and have plans top upgrade it, Doha is starting Metro from scratch, Dubai did it form scratch, UAE is building a complete railway netwrok for movement of people and cargo from scratch. All of AGCC will be interconnected with railway for cross country travel within AGCC and metros within cities. All of them are paying for it, whereas in Pakistan in 60+ years we should be having the best metro network in at least all the major cities of Pakistan but on the contrary we have failed on manage the infrastructure we got from British for free. In the end we get in Lahore a small scale bus transport system with the word "Metro" attached to it to make the fool public happy and make them think they are riding a "metro"

Looking at how things are being handled in Pakistan, to get a standard metro network like Dubai or Doha we will need a century and by that time there will be something else used for mass transit of people.

We cannot even handle the railway network which the British gifted us for free. They managed the infrastructure better than our politicians and invested in infrastructure better than what our politicians are doing. We are still using the same old tracks and signals and bridges, the number of engines have gone down dramatically. need say more?

Exactly, you don't know many things. For instance did you not know that Saudi Arabia have built a fence along the border of Iraq to STOP terrorist from crossing into Iraq? did you know that? Billions were spent in that project. but they dug tunnels and crazy stuff.

So Saudi Arabia promoting terrorism in Iraq is just plane hogwash if you ask me. It is your current government that is injecting these ideas into your heads. And is very careful not to present to you all the facts. Post Saddam Iraq was planned to be a Saudi ally and a possibly GCC state. But whadda ya know, Iraq was hijacked by hate filled people.
