What's new

Afghan refugees in Pakistan fear deportation.

I'm amazed that the government allowed people like afghans into the country yet they abandoned people like the Biharis who fought for Pakistan.

Understanable but what are two million illegal bengalis doing in karachi? They didnt fight for pakistan.
Also there are only two lakh biharis in bangladesh, most of them migrated to west Pakistan after 1971.

I don't care if they hate Pakistan or not.

You've got to be kidding me !

They are our people, and are in dire need of assistance.

Since when have 'Afghans' been 'our' people ? They might dream about carving out their Greater Afghanistan out of Pakistan but that still doesn't make them 'our' people.

It is our responsibility to further extend the help we can and do not kick them out.

On the contrary one can only do so much for ungrateful parasites hell bent on harming us & hating us every minute of their presence in 'our' land.

Moreover, every Child that opens his/her eyes in the land of the pure is ours and must not be sent to Afghanistan.

Agreed.

I don't care what Afghans on PDF think of us, but i do know for sure that our hospitality to our Afghan brethren will be remembered by historians.

Not likely, we've always been astoundingly bad at getting our point across & history is yet to forgive us for that ! Its not likely that Historians would remember what we did for the Afghans; at any rate what is or isn't written in the History books 50 years from now in the halls of Oxfords does nothing to take away the incredible levels of venom that Afghans are filled with for us.

The hand that gives,is greater than the hand that receives. This notion was refuted by Islam by introducing the beliefs like Musawat and Akhuwat.

Hasn't that astounding gullibility damaged us enough ? We've gone all 'Mera Musalamman Bhai' with everyone from the Arabs & the Iranians to the Afghans & the Kashmiris with nothing to show for it but misery & utter disappointment for ourselves. Its time we sober up & realize the age old adage - Agar koi meraa sakaaa nahin bunnn rahaa tu mujhee kiyaa zaroorat haiii uss ka sakaa baneiii kiii ?

At any rate in our & the Afghans case its our hand that feeds them & their hand that constantly slices our soft underbelly going back to the beginning.

We are a nation built on an ideology which cares not for ethnicities but common cause and respect for our own kind and beyond.

We are a Nation built on Muslim Brotherhood; the thing with that to work is that the other person must consider us his 'brothers' to begin with instead of encroachers on his land in collusion with the Brits !

We are a nation built on migrants and refugees. We have been taught kindness and hospitality by our ideals and our founding fathers. A nation born in chaos must help others facing chaos.

We are a Nation of Brothers who fought, immigrated & died for a common cause - Muslim Brotherhood; the day an Afghan forsakes his venom I'd embrace his as my own....till then I'm weary of this one-sided brotherhood that has spanned more than 3 decades.

These people are human and our people. Calling them parasites is a horrendus statement, did Budhha teach you that?

They are more certainly not 'our' people; they are refugees in our country that hate this country & its people from the core of their hearts; the day they start considering us as their 'own' people & us as 'humans' should be the day we reciprocate till that time God Bless them but they must get out of my country & my people's lives.

They are here by compulsion not by choice and they will return to their country once they are safe there. We need to keep our hand extended for as long as needed.

We never should've extended this hand in the first place to a people who've left no opportunity untouched in harming us - their brothers & their own people ! Therefore the sooner we see a lost cause the better - Kick them out.

Afghans are our brothers. Even If they are ungrateful and namak haram(not all), we have to help them.

What kind of a mentality is that ? A brother is ungrateful, namak haram to the breaking point & hasn't left any opportunity untouched in harming us - his brethren & we still have to help them....why ?

Muslim Brotherhood is a sacred bond of trust & mutual respect not stupidity of the highest order.

Imagine giving birth to a son that doesn't listen to you.

He will still be your son even if he does not obey you.

I believe the displaced people from FATA are resulting and creating the same situation all across the country. i.e. crimes, prostitution etc what do you suggest we should do about them as well?

We owe everything to them for the IDPs from FATA are in their own country & amongst their own people; they have a right to expect help from us & we have an obligation to do so. We do not, however, owe anything more to a people not our own who've been helped by us for more than 3 decades & still hate us from the core of their hearts !

How does that analogy hold in this ? We are neither born of them nor they of us; they've never accepted us from the day we were born & have left no stone unturned to destabilize the hell out of us.

At any rate I'd slap that son & disown him - Bandaa apnooon ka apna bantaa haiii joi aap ko apnaa kehtaa hiii nahin haiii ussss sei kiya apnayat ki tawukuuu ?

So what will you get out of being an asshole to an Afghan?

Always strive to be the better person Armstrong.

I've been the better person for 3 decades; if that still isn't enough than nothing will be.

I don't expect from them a thank you or anything but a little less hate & little more love would be appreciated; till that day they can stay in their country & relish that venom.

Many Afghans are thankful.

Your opinion is based upon afghans from the west that have never seen their own soil.

How the hell bengalis get into karachi? :woot:

Pashtuns should be allowed. Other Afghans can go and eff off.

I've never been to the West; I've based my opinions on the Afghans I've interacted with her in Lahore, twice when I visited Peshawar, many times in Islamabad & once in Karachi. I've based my opinion after talking to the Afghans who are studying in Punjab University, GCU & FC College on Government sponsored scholarships & other financial aid programs.
