Most of the Indian oriented genetic studies link mtDNA and therefore female admix linkages. I wonder why the Indian oriented genetic studies do not talk much about Y-chromosomes.

One cannot renounce ancestry. You are your genes, and you (ideally) are also capable of anything your ancestors were capable of, which is we why take pride in our history.

By your logic, SE Asia can lay a stronger claim on Buddhist history because they are predominantly Buddhists.

Or maybe Christian Italians cannot boast of their glorious past because ancient Romans were pagans? Hmm.. I don't understand you guys.

Edit: I don't think Pakistanis call their IVC ancestors 'inferior'. Some religious nuts might call them "kaffirs".

Go back to my definitions (from your very own scientific sources). There was the NIs (North Indians) who arrived post Lucy of Africa. Then a certain portion of them moved South and those migrants became the SIs (South Indians). In the interim, the NIs were facing colonialism. The current day Persians and Arabians and other tribes were merging with them. That resulted in the ANIs (Ancestral North Indians). The SIs in the interim merged with migrants from other areas such as the Andaman Islands. Very limited merger since the SIs were more defencibily advanced (Hence the stupid claims of the Aryan God like theory). This new group in the south became known as the ASIs (Ancestral South Indians) ...their genes according to archaeology consisting of a large portion of NIs. And Bob's yer uncle

Well guess what Statue in Afghanistan were heritage of afghans and not Dravidians or ASI so i dont know whats your problem?
