I have mentioned before that there are exceptional Pakistanis. But in general, (and even here) the point is clear. Your good words are nice but don't reflect the reality. Unfortunately. Plus, the message was to levina, not to you. Besides, for every you, there are many more syedalis, zarvans, rockstars etc.

"In general" hahahahah

"In generrrrrrrrrrrrrral"

Come on! An elite member like you can do better. much much much better.

you come here on PDF to define "Pakistan in general". What a sad state of affairs.

really really sad state.

Majority, in fact much more than majority want's peace with India. In my opinion you have it all wrong. Pakistani people have never wished to wipe of India from the map and etc, etc. You have it all wrong, we don't wish to be enemies. We as a nation might be many things but this mentality, no sir. Note: your point can be easily countered, as there are more than enough people in India who feel the same way about Pakistan, same questions applied.

It is up to the leaders of both countries to reform public opinion and policy towards each other if there is to be progress towards peace.

I agree. It is a sad state. But I accept it.
Oh Sarthak bhai

It is sad state because so many Bharatis come to PDF in order to become MORE prejudiced about Pakistan not less.

case in point!

OP by @levina. She used to be much more balanced few years back. Now?

It is astonishing to see her advocating RSShite policies of cutting off Pakistan.

Sad but true.

But we have a lot of help from the other side.

Otherwise what would a Maratha boy know who has never even met a Pakistani in real flesh and blood?

People do $hit shoveling because that happens to be their business (many time family business). And yes such shoveling is done by both sides, and many are attracted to the stank of $hit. sort of behavior exhibited by flies in our area.

Hope you are not one of them.

Sir I am a farmer's son. From many generations. We shovel all sorts of stuff. Shit is often there in the mix. Working with the soil is what we do.

And we also quench it with blood whenever she demands. Wherever she demands.

$hit used in farming! Good to grow foods (acts as fertilizer).
--- Glad you shoveled that type

$hit shoveled on PDF by Pakistanis and Bharatis! good to grow prejudice and nazis and Jihadis of both Islamist and Hindutva varieties.
--- Hope you won't shovel this type.

That is the attempt. Most often.

But like all farmers, I am rustic sir. Cannot be PC. Will say what I feel.

In my early days here (I wonder if some old timers remember) I was really literaly shocked to find one Pakistani girl openly say they should not eat with Hindus.

Maine kaafi hungama kiya that. It was on the Whatever thread.

I have grown up now. Sadly?

Why this happens is something too difficult to understand for anyone in your place. You are within the frame of reference. We are outside. RSS has NO policy on Pakistan. But yeah I agree with her pragmatic views. levina's experience has been very typical IMO. I hardly come here anymore. I just post a few infuriating lines and leave. :D

It was disappointing and for some perhaps heartbreaking. But that's life. And it's lessons.

What makes me flabbergasted is to see Pakistanis and Bahratis spread and eat ignorance by the truckload.

And all that when "today" people can travel (with few restrictions) each other with ease. Recently we had engineers from Bharat come over. And it was amazing to hear the low cost of travel between the two countries.

The way I understood, they could take a nice bus ride from major cities in Baharat all the way to Amritsar. Cost was unbelievably reasonable. Then a short taxi ride to the border. And our company car picked them from there. And in no time they were in a comfy 5 star hotel in Lahore.

It was heart warming to hear that they wanted to stay longer and explore people and places. Too bad they had to return due to their business commitments.

Then I see so many "seemingly educated" posters from Baharat doing so much $hit shoveling with so much gusto as if it was the most delicious thing in the world.

OK so if you cannot afford a trip to Pakistan or cannot get a visa. Fine. Read essays blogs of Bahratis who do.

For crying out loud, let's expand our horizon beyond this pathetic arrogance laced exchange of barbs.

See my posts #17 and obviously the post above (#267)

Sir for me at least it is not possible. You are fauji historian. I am (soon to be) fauji, and currently studying in a fauji institute, having signed a Bond directly with our Supreme Commander, the President of India.

Anyways, it is almost impossible getting a visa. An aunty wanted to go across for family friend's wedding. Impossible. Very cold reception at your embassy. Finally many strings pule and 3 month Visa given just the evening before the marriage.

Everyone very nice in Pakistan. But she came back scared. Saying you never know when what will happen.

We never want our country to be like yours sir. And we will justifiably fight to ensure that.

Congrats for your future job. I have deep respect for all faujis in our region. Yes even faujis of our "enemy" country. hahaha.

Generally many of them have their fathers and forefathers from Northren Punjab (Pothohar, pindi, Jehlum, Gujrat) area, regardless of their religion.

your family lienage may be different. But it doesn't matter. my regards and respect as always.

----------- strange that your fauji academy allows you to login to PDF. Oh no. you may be trapped into spy ring. just kidding. We don't do that kind of smart thing on PDF. most of us come here for shoveling you know what.

OK, personal visit for you is obviously out of plan (at least for next decade if not longer). and thus limited to what your eyes (or binocular) will see from your post on the border.

But do try to read a bit more than what only one auntie said.

Even in her case, hopefully you learned that we are not monsters towards Hindus or Bharatis. We don't feed them in separate plates, and yes we all love to share a meal with people from your side.

As a fauji you must learn the core of instability in our region both from contemporary as well as historical perspective.

without such knowledge, you may never develop a good sense of how to defend your country, .

peace

Should? Would? Could? Shouldn't? etc etc etc.

Reality alone matters to me.
Muslims are commanded not to hate any religion but to respect all religon and give people freedom to exercise what they like. A point to counter your argument, no Muslims don't hate Hindus, Christians etc, etc. Can't speak for the one's who do. But i get your point.
