Our politicians didn't have the balls to do anything then. :pissed:
That is not the point.India is not a war mongering nation, will always prefer peace for war.
Pakistan establishment has promise india that they will take action against them.
Also India has point to isolate pakistan diplomatically by proving that they are the aggressor.

Pakistan army is at insurgency in 3 province, why India wages war.

On topic-S-400 may not check mate but definitely its a very important strategic weapons, and PAF should seriously be worried how to counter it.

it was UPA and we all know why they were in power ... just like why zardari was in for power get the point ?

So what's stoping the current indian government from taking revenge for mumbai 26/11/2008 and pathankot december 2015? Isn't your military allegedly many times more powerful than Pakistan's?

Insurgency is virtually dead and buried now or dying a slow painful death. The emergence of China as a superpower and CPEC means diplomatic isolation will have virtually no effect on Pakistan. The fact that india cannot attack or do anything militarily to a nation 8 times smaller than itself despite abundant access to the world's most advanced weapons and the full backing of the west (both privileges dnied to Pakistan) tells you how much the indian military high command are REALLY aware of the TRUE capabilities of the Pakistan military. And that what matters. Not what random indian trolls on the internet say. Reality defeats opinions each and every time.

Insurgency is still there, operation is on,may die or not only future will tell.We already have 4 wars in past. Now the dimension of war has change i.e economy and diplomacy..You have CPEC we started chahabahar with IRAN your rival ports.we will not allow you to grow economically just see the fate of F-16,that is our victory. It is not necessary to hurt you only in war.Right now we are modernizing our defence force and increasing our capabilities in a continues manner. When time will come we will engage(cold start) according to our wish and time.
However i see you relish Mumbai attack, and i am equally very sad about APC attack, that is the basic difference between you and us.

From this thread, what I learn ...

So, India is a peaceful nation and no evil designs against others.
S400 is so capable piece of defence equipment that it could shot down any aircraft taking-off with hostile intentions.

So my conclusion is that, India should stop investing in IAF and should only pay attention to S400.

Your learning and conclusion is perfectly right. However investing in IAF is according to threat matrix and 2 front war.

Who are those 02 front evil nations or enemies, against them you are preparing?

Thanks for correction, badly overestimated you in previous post. Also what should be indian equal of 90000 Pakistani POW'S in 1971, please provide any 6 similar Indian stamps equivalent to this.

Ps7-81.JPG

In 1971, 90,000 Pakistani militants/troops surrendered to 800,000 Indian troops/Bangladeshi militants. Not to mention the Pakistani's were running out of supplies and had no air or naval support once they surrendered. Them fighting would have been suicide.

Likewise we are modernizing our military and becoming more powerful everyday albeit covertly rather than overtly like you people. F-16 issue is of no consequence as we can buy or do joint ventures with China for more advanced and powerful fighter jets. Just as india failed to stop Pakistan from becoming a nuclear weapons state so you will fail in preventing CPEC from being a success.

Not to mention they were cut of by 1000s of kms from their homeland.

Since the earth is round, flying "under" the radar is flying beneath the coverage area that the radar can "see" directly from where it is, and the height of radar coverage depends on the distance from the site as well as the terrain.

You Know this Technique is Effective Since WW2 times That being said, there are other types of radar and other ways of utilizing radar that minimize this problem and make it nearly impossible to fly under it.

Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS)

This is downward looking radar attached to a 25,000 ft. tether. From 15,000 ft. it can detect aircraft and even vessels all of the way down to the surface of the ocean out to 200 miles.Well India Is Lucky in this Regard
Due to Indo-Israel or Indo-US Relation ship
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EL/M-2083

India has at present the Israeli made EL/M-2083 aerostat radars. It was first inducted six years ago and 11 more are in the process of acquisition.Mostly Inducted By IAF as of 2015

The Israeli aerostat radar that India has acquired has payloads consisting of advanced programmable radar (APR), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), communication intelligence (COMINT) and VUHF radio telephony equipment and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF). The radar can be integrated with AWACS and ground based surveillance systems.

The DRDO Own Akasdeep Aerostat, having a detection range of 100 nautical miles and endurance of one month, carries an electro-optic and communication intelligence payloads, designed, developed and integrated by the Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE), Agra.

The Indian aerostat is equipped with a thermal camera for use at night and in low visibility conditions. The electronic intelligence payload carried a communication intelligence system for capturing and analyzing a variety of communication.

Also India is Buying 8 Additional Aerostat Radar

Another type is Over-The-Horizon Radar which can see further by reflecting radar off of the ionisphere like this:

Full view of the two over-the-horizon radar antennas in the Chernobyl-2 complex. The height of the larger antenna is about 150 m, the smaller one is about 90 m high.

Vladimir Putin held a meeting June 19, 2013 on implementing the 2011–2020 state arms procurement program, focusing on development of the technology base for air and space defence. Putin said "By 2015, our air and space defence troops’ arms must be no less than 50% modernised, and no less than 70% modern by 2020. These plans are being gradually implemented: the potential of the air and space defence forces has been bolstered by the brand new Voronezh-M and Voronezh-DM radar stations; the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile system has been adopted for use; S-400 systems are already being serially produced and delivered to troops; tests are underway on the Vityaz aerial defence anti-aircraft missile system, as well as the Konteyner and Nebo-M radar stations; the advanced S-500 system, which is capable of resolving problems even in near space, is under development."
Neither airborne not oversea radars can guide S-400. Overall air defences are grossly overestimated and repeatedly failed in all recent wars.

No military could have won the 1971 war for the simple fact that those troops were fighting an insurgency and a full blown war. This too 1000s of miles away from their home country separated by a hostile nation. The circumstances and challenges of 1971 were extremely unique. It's foolish to believe the same can happen in modern Pakistan even without nuclear weapons in the equation.

Exactly, not to mention the military presence in East Pakistan was miniscule compared to the one in West Pakistan. Pakistan should have beefed up its power in East Pakistan, rather than relying on counter attacks from the West. Also, we should never, EVER trust India after that. They said they would not intervene, but they did.

They are mostly just bark with little bite. Unless your facing North Korea, Air Defences won't change things drastically.

Mhm. Almost a damn continent away.

All the best for your success in CPEC.Your JV with 5th GEN J-31 is decade away.
Hold on and pray till then.
On topic S-400 is only one of the multilayered air defence we have, apart from SPYDER,AAD and PAD.
All will work in synergy and compliment each other.so please pe prepare.

Economic Growth which we have you don't.

Nature also has answer to this Baby elephant sometimes react to wild dogs(1971), but as they grow and become huge they just tend to ignore dogs, they feel that the dogs are not worth their time as they have more important things in life (NSG, P6)

So all in all what has Pakistan gained by starting a war in 1965, 1971, KARGIL as Pakistan has most professional airforce and every soldier is caption america, One could rule the world with this caption america army but sadly i see Pakistan lost siachin and some huge land area in east.

More like a hyper ugly, starving malnourished elephant. Any nation that has at least a third of the world's severely ultra poor and malnourished is in no position to criticize another nation/race of people:

Please solve your indian problems before you start to worry about Pakistan's economy
