Af-Pak - Destined For Conflict

this, now you need to read between the lines..
his majesty..... has seen with regret the disagreements between the Governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan about the status of the territories on the North West Frontier. It is His Majesty's Government's view that Pakistan is in international law the inheritor of the rights and duties of the old Government of India and of his Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom in these territories and that the Durand Line is the international frontier.
international frontier, right ? there is vast difference between frontier and international border. research the world frontier in context with colonel era, and see for your self what does it actually mean. the word has geo politically very different meaning

Frontier itself means a line or border separating 2 states.

bhittani bacha, better if you should have done a proper research regarding the durand line and Afghan successive government stance. what you have posted are facebooki material, none of these points are Afghan government stances.
you are even ignorant of the fact that recognizing the durand line and recognizing the durand line as a border are two different things vary by a vast degree.
Afghan government don't recognize the durand line treaty now, but if we do it is still not like the line become a border. we should then start respecting the original treaty clause which are more loose than even today the line is treated. let me give you another proposal for your research. start digging whether FATA is legally part of pakistan or not?
So who are you..an ignorant Afghan who spent all his life gettingg free lunch in Pakistan and then come up with your usual rhetoric against the country who fed your clife untrue not all in the name of brotherhood. But the question is does the Afghanies even know what brotherhood means, you all are selfish piece of shits and does not deserve to be on this side of the land. Peri D.

Calm down and keep it polite homie ..:D

I ask the question again please. Give a simple step by step answer why one is differant from the other?
the burden is on you to do that... you need to prove that under xyz law both should be treated same
first i am ignorant about the fate of that line so i can't say how it become an international border. what i am sure that it become one upon mutual consent of all the parties involved. as there is no law that link the fate of one border with another, both should be treated differently, geo political scenario are different at our norht-west and east. if Afghanistan and pakistan both agrees to make it an international border, then it become one, other wise it has a different fate.

brother, this is what we want, we want good relations with paksitan, and want our child back to care for her, just like a mother desperate for her child.

Burden of proof lies on the one making a claim ..

The world accepts the Durrand line as an international border .. It is you making a claim on our territory...

And we'll frankly .. Who cares what you claim.. Nothing is going to happen and in the end Afghanistan will have to accept the border .. By hook or crook.

Looking at the size, your economic position, emilitary, economic or political capability and overall dependency on Pakistan... You are our child and when a child misbehaves .. The parents first try to calm him down politely but continuous acts force the parents to punish the child...

In the end of you don't change your attitude .. It will be punishment..

As they say.. Don't teach your father how to f...

I seriously doubt your ability to do that, You can hardly fight India on single front. How will you fight both Afghanistan and India, The reality is, Pakistan is 1/10th the size of India, where it really matters.

Pakistan invading Afghanistan for strategic depth would rather ensure strategic encirclement of Pakistan.

As of now Afghans are claiming parts of Pakistan, India does not support that. Because Durand line is British agreement, It is as valid/invalid as Macmohan line.
No wonder why we call you indiots. Please take your childish comments somewhere else, otherwise our surgical strike would be for real with documentary prove.

Can you also stop using the number zero in Maths because Indians came up with it?

P.S Loius Dupree is not Indian.

Can Afghanis please stop using Pakistan as if it was their dad's atm machine and their chacha's house? That would be easier. Anyway, when it comes to giving Afghans money we are happy to stop using zeros. Ungrateful people.

as there is no law that link the fate of one border with another,
While there is no such law but there are legal principles. They call them precedents. One case can be used as benchmark or referance to others. You can't sing one song here and another there - wherever it suits you.

precedent
noun
noun: precedent; plural noun: precedents
ˈprɛsɪd(ə)nt/
1.
an earlier event or action that is regarded as an example or guide to be considered in subsequent similar circumstances.
"there are substantial precedents for using interactive media in training"
synonyms: model, exemplar, example, pattern, previous case, prior case, previous instance/example, prior instance/example;

So I ask again:-

(i) How is the Ridgway Line (Northern boundary of Afghanistan) any differant from Durand Line?
(ii) Why have not made any attempt to take back Panjdeh strip from Turkmenistan despite that land being forecefully taken off you by Russians?

But mr or Mrs kaur is...

lol, so you dismiss all the points by simply saying xyz is Indian? how typical

There are other primary sources as well, things are not black and white like the way they are portrayed by certain people with a certain agenda.
