Its current status?
and do you think after upgradation how much and how many of these birds can be put equal to the 4th and 4.5th generations eagles?
and How long these birds can serve Pakistan?

Sir, i throughly enjoy reading your posts. I want to ask you about my uncle who served in the PAF and retired in the 80s, Air Commodore Syed Iqbal Ahmed...he overseen building of airbases and airforce installations across the country, also a vetteran of 65 and 71...do you recall?

no that is not how it works it worked on the iranian F-14 because they had a contract with grumman to fix them and instead of fixing them the engg put virus so the on board computer died, fot 2 years they were grouned and then the russians told them that they can help them restore. Cods are like keys like updating siftware or downloading software. but now our engg are pretty good they change the keys which are codes. So this code system was good in the 80s not now.
Just for your info 1 F-16 comes with 54 key codes for different functions starting from HUD , Avionics, INS and the list keeps going. Our engg now have 26 years of experience on F-16s.
