yes but Russians are no fools , that they are not upto date with the changing geopolitics of this region ... or are they ??
US and Pakistan is not the allies as they were before , and things will go worse , as US will more close to India , Pakistan will be more close to Russia ... in past the alliance were different .... we have China already on our side , and China + Russia will be better allies than US ... once nato is out of Afghanistan , they have no interest in Pakistan ..
Russia needs allies and Pakistan need to overlook the upcoming close relationship of Modi and Obama ...
what is yet to see that how india will treat Russians , because US has history of betraying their allies , and i hope indians will not do the same mistake as we did in past ..

S-300 is too old now.

Russia will start inducting s-500 in a couple of years.Plus its useless against ballistic missiles.

The 10 year lease is just for show purposes. The Akula II is ours for ever. We can convert it into an underground themed park or hotel if we want 25 years from now. Just saying of course.

When the ARMATA program comes online we will take be making the big purchases the likes of which have not been seen in ages. If anything Indo-Russia co-op is becoming deeper and deeper.

India is going Good direction, so do not worry India as you emerging power in world. India have its own unique position in world rather enjoy your own worth in international world.
Beside, Russia is now have only vintage weapons technology compared to West, USA and Israel, so rather India wasting money poor and old technology it better to take good and strong steps for it own interests.

Pakistan is only happy that Russia is back! IT is Good for Pakistan. If you are comparing US technology with Russia or China then it is correct to say that the US is better. It is more expensive due to higher research and labour costs. Russia and China also have the same idea of working but they cost less due to labour is cheap. More over USA does not give transfer of technology of the latest products where as both Russia and China offer it.

As far as South Korea is concerned it is an ally of the US and defence parted but that does not mean that USA gives 100% transfer of technology classic example The Iphone and Samsung. The T50 were not allowed to be part of the Chinese defence expo that was held a few days back. These aircraft are only flying with KAF though they were supposed to be sold to USA as they do incorporate technology from Lockheed.

For Pakistan it is important that a local industry can be established which can not just fulfil the requirement locally but also export. These products would not require any third party approvals and would build up forex reserved too.

Good Russia Then Also Tell them to Find New Seller for there Billions of $ Technology and Trade.Also More than 50 billion dollars Future Investment in their future Projects when they have shortage of Cash Already and there Economy is hitting Down.As for US-Pakistan Relations I think you Should deeply Analyse That.
