No, because that would imply equating Pakistan's ongoing atrocities against its minorities with the Gujarat riots (not massacre) of 2002. There is absolutely no comparison between the two.

1. kannada is not my language... but tipu sultan is a hero to me... and he did more against british india than any other historic ruler... and artillery rocketry was greatly promoted by tipu... so, he has more political and technological superiority to kempegowda.

2. karnataka was formed on language basis in 1956 through the "states reorganization act"... a most undemocratic way of dividing a society for organizational needs.

3. krv, ram sena, pfi etc are also the result of "states reorganization act" which reinforced religious divisions rather than eliminating religious stupidity.

bangalore "muslims", as seen nowadays, are among the worst muslims in the world... they are all about mosques and burqas... they will not lift one finger if the "kiss of love" activists are attacked.

as for my opinion... "kiss of love" is a waste of time for the promoters themselves... they cannot bring any radical changed this way... they should do what educated young people did in the 60's and 70's... join socialist movement and do real fight.

I'm not a Kannada speaker either, and whether Tipu Sultan is a hero to you or me, is as irrelevant to Bangalore city and its people as the type of car you drive to work every day. Kempegowda founded Bangalore city, and it is only fair to name the city's gateway after him. Pipe down.

I was a huge tipu sultan fan as a kid and he did fight british rather splendidly.

you understand me wrong... i cried also for the 69 people who died of hunger in the tea plantations of darjeeling just about a month ago.

the indian supreme is not any supreme authority to me... my supreme authority is nature, common sense and humanity... what does the supreme court say about "honor killing", murder of naxalites by indian government/military and culture-enforced oppressions, the "love jihad" drama and india becoming suicide capital of the world??

When the Supreme Court of India exonerated Modi, it did so with adequate proof, testimony etc, not out of thin air. Military enforced oppression? Which country do you live in? This isn't some half-baked monkey court we're talking about.

1.But Majority Karnataka peoples are Kannadigas...So naturally there love goes for their fellow Kannadiga like KG,just like your for Tipu...
2.Karnataka was traditionally a largely indigenous Kannada area...Urdu Muslims are immigrants only(correct me if i am wrong)..
3.Religious organizations are there in Karnataka even before independence...
