Hindu temple attacked with bullets

They are not immigrant if they are born there and society is 'multicultural' i do hope you know what that means

Multicultural, it is a very strong word but useless, just like Socialism.

Again, no one is stopping you or anyone else from going to temple, atleast not in our country. But do you really think it's worth when you piss off some local knuckleheads who feel threatened and are afraid that they are going to loose their culture to the immigrants.
So should people be scared and stop following their religious ideologies just because few knuckleheads threaten to do so?

The same can be said about RSS/BD/VHP or even the Shiv Sena in Mumbai. Do you justify their acts and want immigrants to Mumbai not celebrate their culture?

No I don't. But RSS is not a piece of crap like Shiv Sena or VHP. Just try to learn more about RSS instead of listening to the mother-son tag team's propaganda.

Lol. I did attend some of the RSS meetings -albeit as a member of a communist group. So spare me the morality thingi. And I am not a big fan of "The Hand" either.

As a Hindu would you and your family like to go a temple, if it is somehow build in Iran or Iraq?

Well, they are Nationalists, guess this must be a wrong thing according to you. As for their extremist image, yes, a bunch of them really are, but let's not generalize shall we.

I am in complete agreement with you. But is it worthy for any human to visit a temple and get shot. I don't think so. Visiting temple is a good rather a great experience, but what if a woman or a child would have died in this incident.
.

I understand your point of view. But not building a place of worship in a land which claims to be free and tolerant, or not going to the Temple due to fear is ridiculous. There are and always will be intolerant idiots. Period.
That doesnt mean you stop living your life.

I have no problem with rational nationalists. But coupling religion with ultra-nationalism is a very dangerous mix, I strongly condemn.

Claims, they are usually different from the reality. I hardly found any nation's such claims to be entirely true, maybe be some Scandinavians.

As for the fear, to each his own. People are scared of hooligans and small time criminals in ordinary times but they are the same people who are found on the streets during religious tensions along with the same criminals of their respective religion.

Yes I would ... depending on the local law and order situation. If the law and order situation is bad like it was in Iraq I would definitely think twice, but if the situation is normal whats wrong in it.

Do you know the law of the land in oz? one of the law's is freedom to practise, preach and propagate any religion of your choice whether people like it not that is the bottom line

You can either be rational or nationalist. Tank man is the best example for you.

I never saw RSS harassing Sikhs, Jains or Buddhists in India. On the contrary, RSS saved thousands of Sikhs in 84 while our very own SECULAR party was slaughtering them like animals. All they believe is that this is a majority land so you must respect Hinduism and love your country regardless of your religion.

Situation was normal in Oz, a couple of years back and even I would have visited a temple there if I were there. But this is hardly a normal situation.

Law of the land? Even Pakistanis are officially free to practice any religion but we all know the truth, right.

Hinduism is one of the fastest growing religions in Oz and they have many white aussie converts, not everyone is a racist bigot but the Goverment there is a joke!
