India decides not to Release the Video of Surgical Strike Footage in 'fear' of giving away tactics!

The Government has Decided not to Release the Video of Surgical Strike along the LoC due to Security Reasons. The Govt believes that making the Footage Public will give away the Tactics and Operational Techniques employed by Para SF to Cross-LoC and Destroy Enemy Camps.

The Indian army which had reportedly handed over video footage of the surgical strikes across LoC to the government and was keen that the evidence be released and the final decision was upon PMO.

The level of provocation or political compulsion to battle an opposition narrative that the surgical strike was “fake”, the Narendra Modi government refrained from releasing the footage of the strikes. A Report, quoting eyewitness accounts from across the border, mentions graphic details of explosions, bodies being loaded onto trucks for secret burials and strikes on launch pads that took Lashkar-e-Taiyyaba terrorists by surprise.

Adding to the government’s discomfiture is a sense of indignation in the armed forces who are understandably outraged that their brave effort has been called into question. Top officers in the Indian army are keen that India releases evidence to “answer” those alleging that the strikes never happened.

But this time,The Prime Minister showed ‘strategic restraint’ and did not fall into the trap of providing evidence.

A former Army Chief General Shankar Roychowdhury advised the government not to put out sensitive information on public domain,

“The ISI and Pakistan army are eagerly looking forward to whatever they can pick up, particularly from the Indian media, because 80 percent of all intelligence comes from open sources… They are waiting to pick up intelligence about India’s operational techniques.”

Modi did the Right Thing by not releasing the evidence of the Strike. Doing so would tense up the situation even more between the two Countries

Today some SP of Mirpur has accepted in a telephonic interview that surgical strikes did happen

Even ARY news ran this story

Secondly Indian journalists have also obtained confirmation from Azad kashmir residents

get a life.. how it would be difficult from talking to fake militants during mumbai attack?

Except Pakistan which initially claimed we were part of joint operation? And then got a bloody nose cut?

Thing is let's wait a few days for all the drama to come down. Truth always will come to light.

Awww, bringing back the OBL operation as a comeback?
Lets talk about this shall we, like the saga of the never coming video

This bullsh!t SP mirpur story has been torn apart on this forum. Want us to do that again??

Seriously think that can happen- At least we can claim question here are being raised even If It means questioning the Army- can you even think of such a thing there-

Off course not, we live in jails and rarely get to see women outside of our mothers as per Indian people's intelligence.

Pakistanis needed proof not the Indians. I am happy that this happened as a lot of operation information would have been released.

Also this is going to be a going forward trend so I say "Sir Gi kal bhi hone wali hai strikes".

Actually a lot of the footage of the attack was shown to journalists. But then almost everyone in the world including the United Nations verified these claims.

OBL raid was different in that There was little or no resistance

Here there were Simultaneous and coordinated attacks at Four locations
And fierce fighting also happened

The ARC of operations was over 250 KM running along the LOC

Add to it the difficulties of getting in ; the Deception techniques used - Artilery attacks and Helicopter sorties and finally the Egress -- it was a Brilliant Special forces operation

IMHO: its perfectly making sense according to Indian logic for not releasing the video of the so-called "surgical strike" footage for fear of "giving away tactic"
Here is WHY: when the "Henderson report" of the 1962 Chinese VS Indians border war is still considered as "TOP SECRET" after 54 years, what do you expect NOW? :haha:

In 2008, the Defense Minister, Mr AK Antony told the Indian Parliament that the Herderson Brooks could not be declassified. Mr Antony claimed that the report could not be made public because an internal study by the Indian Army had established that its contents “are not only extremely sensitive but are of current operational value.”

But, Pak had the tail of the "stealth chopper" along with RAM coating (40 years work w/ 40b$) as a consolation price. Last time it was the entire Tomahawk in mint condition. Even before that an Indian fighter under factory warranty. As for drone attacks, a couple of charred bodies with intact IDs are never missed by the on-lookers. Using Newton's method of induction, what's about now??

Best comment! But the Randians will not understand.

So brilliant that they floated on air coming through, went 250km into a village whose entire foundations disappeared ..and then returned the same way.

brilliant!
Oh the Brilliance!.. It is blinding me! My nose! , My Nose!.. I cant stand the brilliance!
