India hands over soldier who crossed border

Indian army wet their dhotis after Chinese ultimatum forces them to hand over PLA soldier.
Standard operating procedures were followed in accordance with the Geneva conventions and the soldier was handed back to his country/military.

Also, why degrade the forum with such kiddy talk when people can actually discuss an issue instead ?

Do you know how many Indians are in Pakistani jails?

Indians are either dumb to believe that the Chinese spy was looking for Yaks or afraid to detain a Chinese soldier.

Didn't you guys say the same thing when PA handed over Abhinandan Varthaman ?

Honestly, haven't followed the story in any depth so I don't know the details. It does seems weird that a lone soldier would just get lost in the wilderness and stray across to the other side.

Indians languishing in Pak jails ? no idea, they keep doing these captured fishermen exchanges regularly though, and every now and then some border village idiot crosses onto the other side but are often escorted back and set free.

Full hostilities have not (yet) broken out so couldn't keep him hostage.

Like I said, haven't followed the story, you can fill us in on what you know.

Yes, international SOPs were followed and Pakistan handed over our downed pilot, all in accordance with the Geneva conventions.

Pak scored an air kill, a propaganda victory, and furthered that coup with what appeared to be a magnanimous gesture.

You better be careful what you say as RSS goons may come and burn your house down-"Pak scored an air kill, a propaganda victory, and furthered that coup with what appeared to be a magnanimous gesture."

Finally,, try convincing twitter Indians of that

Hindutva extremism is a reality

You have opened Pandora's box and the hindutva extremist genie is out now

It's a threat to all South Asia

Twitter threads are always a $hitshow, as are youtube comment sections. Not good places to have a normal discussion. Those are like moshpits, this forum is supposed to be a much more sophisticated place, like a state dinner and a Pavarotti concert.

Maybe, not convinced entirely but many seem to think so.. wait and watch.

Hindutva exists only within Hindustan, it is not an expansionist ideology.

They do have branches all over the world but it's only for that part of the Indian diaspora that support it, how on earth is this a threat to South Asia ? :what:

ATM I can only think of RSS' idea of Akhand Bharat which would stretch from Afghanistan to Southeast Asia, and towards this result the RSS sees the Indian military as its sword arm.

I suggest you concentrate more on party manifestos than random conspiracy theories.

nobody wants to annex Afghanistan to Myanmar lol

Of course it is one thing to ideate about such things and entirely another thing to actually put in practice.

But these are things that the RSS and its offshoots actually believe in. Isn't it true that just a few days ago there was a thread about a BJP leader saying that the Taj Mahal is really a Hindu temple ?

As some military statement, returning him back is a goodwill gesture before next round talk.
