India may surpass Germany to become fourth-largest economy in 2026: UK's CEBR

You certainly don't have the basic knowledge of economy do you have?

OK. I corrected my number. Indian economy is 2.9 trillion dollar in 2019, so with 5 percent growth rate is expected by this forecast, it means Indian economy will be 6 trillion in 2030. It maybe has 5 trilion in 2026. I though Indian economy in 2.5 trillion in 2019

Dear Sir,

It doesn't happen this way. The growth rate is counted net of Inflation. it is not counted at current price. In current price, Indian economy grows at a rate above 10%. Check bellow diagram.

See How Indian economy became 30 lakh crore economy to almost 190 lakh crore economy in 15 years with a compound annual growth rate of 13%+. Please check yellow line. Same way Chinese economy increased 5 fold in just a decade or little bit more at compounded growth rate 14%. Has INR not devaluated by more than 50% in last decade in half, we would have already surpassed Germany and would have touched japan. In 10 years of UPA, they allow free import of capital goods which surpasses even oil import of India. That hit our currency very hard. INR which had started becoming stronger in 2003-2004 fell very badly in subsequent years hearting Indian economy. Now we have a huge USD inflow which is strengthening our currency but our government has kept it artificially higher so that export can be maintained. If INR strengthens to high of 1 year, our GDP can be 3.25 tr USD + merely because of INR strengthening.
