What's new

India must take a ‘free Tibet’ stand

We consolidate our power first, we are still growing and we shouldn't indugle ourselves in power politics yet, the most important thing for India now is economic growth and territorial integrity.

we cant waste resources of ventures like these yet, we need a good strong 10 years of 8-9 % growth to put us on par of the best of Europe and ahead of Russia and Brazil. 10 years from there and we might have a shot at being one of the richest country's in the world.
Then we spread our outreach to its full extent. Till then we need stay in our shell and grow.

Besides Let china posture and pose as much as it wants. Thats The Foreign affairs minister problem, What are we paying him for. GoI needs to build better infrastructure and spread economic wealth amongst the masses.

Lets get our priorities straight people.

But one thing which you said is absolutely correct. i.e India didnt used to be in existence that odd 62 years ago.Instead it used to be existed as Bharat or Bharatavarsha. Which actually includes all the landmass from the far western Afghanistan to today far eastern Malaysia.
since you people dont like India and the land it currently holds today, lets roll back to the good old days. And let Bharat start annexing all its previous territories.
...

Wasn't that British India? It was not your India.

Annex more? You can't even annex your own people's stomach.

Man, for some reason this guy is reading my mind .He is putting everything in ditto into words with only a single mistake.Since he was scared to death of putting China as China, he is using India.

Yeah that odd 62 years ago China used to appear like a bare naked body without Tibet and Xinxiang. Later on it started waging wars on the military less and buddhist countries and annexed their territories.

P.S:The much better you take, the more it means. To improve your historical abilities go read some books.

Hi, You need to read more book too on China.

Xinjiang was first incorporated under China in 60BC under defecting Xiongnu under Han Dynasty. The uigurs came to XinJiang in 745AD. Xinjiang was in China control most of the times under different dynasty.

Tibet on the other hand was first incorporated under China Dynasty on 1270 under Yuan Dynasty.

Of course, there were times when China is weak and foreign powers will instigate the independence for this 2 states.

As present, all countries in the world (inluding India) recognize them as part of China. They were not listed as disputed territory unlike South Tibet which is classified as disputed territory.

I doubts Indian government will take a free tibet stand! They are not the Indian Media or some of the indians here. lol.

60BC????? thats all you can get atmost?

Indian civilization started a way more than 12000BCE as per the present books.and the Recent archaeological evidences pull a date no later than 30000BCE.

To know about the vast Indian foot holds in the east Asia go and do carbon dating on the ancient temples in Cambodia, laos and malaysia.

Idiot. There's a reason why Malaysia's population is 40% ethnic chinese (less now as more Hindu Indians illegally & 'legally' migrate and reproduce without consequence). There's a reason why Singapore is 96% Chinese. There's a reason why Indonesia's ethnic Chinese population is estimated near 10% (less claim it because of past few decades of oppression against Chinese descendents). There's a reason why 35% of Thais are ethnic Chinese. There's a reason why Vietnamese are really Chinese. Same with Laos. Can you guess Myanmar's Chinese %?

:)

Oh, I would also like to add that a fifth of Pinoys are Chinese descendents.

You see now why ASEAN is closer to China than Bharat? :)

for your kind info,Buddhism not originated from Nepal. It is only birth place of Gautham. His preaching initially started in Varanasi(UP) and since then from the place where he got enlightenment(Bihar).

P.S: There was no Nepal then.Nepal just got its name in the modern age.The place where Gautama was born is a place is Lumbini which was a region one ruled by Bharata.

I can clearly see ur frustration of lacking proofs.Today there were 40% chinese dont necessarily mean that Malaysia was once ruled by Indian kings.

If you want me to address u nicely, you have to behave like a social animal.

We've covered this many times. To make a valid claim to the land you need:

(1) Ancestral >

(2) Historical >

(3) Cultural >

(4) Religious

But you also need to CONSENT and WILLINGNESS of the people to join you. Otherwise it will be a broken glass, fractured!

Furthermore, let's not forget it was the Hindus who expelled and persecuted the Buddhists.

Rice + Tea = China :)

Desperation????

I wasnt talking about British India.
I was talking about bharatavarsha and the regions held by later kings.

So your stance on tibet claim? is it religious?cultural?ancestral? or even historical? where on earth tibet was ruled by a han?And tibetans were not hans et all.
So world has to wait for the fractured glass to be broken again?
Which i mean is world has to wait for the day when Tibetans kick the Chinese out and become independent.

And same goes with Xinxiang.

India in a such weak position is still holding such hawkish attitude towards China, one cannot imagine what will be if it's in a stronger position?
Now I start undenstanding our Pakistani bros' feelings on Incredible India. :pakistan::china:
