IamIndian, ask your proud West Bengal brothers why they hardly ever highlighted in India and why they are never heard about despite being one of the largest ethnic groups in India. Instead the Punjabis are always highlighted and the Punjabis are always employed in the different sectors of India (Bollywood). It seems that your West Bengal brothers love taking a seat back and rely on their legacy. The Bengalis in India seem like a waste of space.

Well if not in one day then make it a couple of days.Four days max,it won't take more for Dhaka to fall at present situation when our armed forces are relatively weaker.

And if we can not capture Dhaka then we can sure hell blow it to smithereens.A four day bombing by IAF and IA rocket artillery barrages with a mix of napalm( or thermite plasma),white phosphorus and thermobaric warheads will do it just fine.If can't have it,then we will definitely level it to ground by bombing the shit out of Dhaka.In either case,you guys will be the sore looser.
Or on a second thought,we can always just open the flood gates and flush you guys down to the toilet......errrr,I mean the Bay of Bengal.It will be a lot more economical too.I mean who the hell would ever want their country to waste its war reserves on such miserable creatures like you??

Seriously,after reading the comments of Bangladeshis here PDF Bangladesh section,I feel our national leaders made a very big mistake in 1971.They should have either deported each and every muslims packing to their West Pakistani/Arbi/Iranian masters packing lock,stock and barrel or should have sterilised them wholesale.

I can answer it. Bangladeshis and Indians are same race but Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are not same in any way apart from majority being Muslims. Even being Muslim majority nations Pakistani and Bangladeshi 'brand' of Islam is not same. Bangladesh and West Bengal share same sentiments since both are parts of Bengal. Bengali nationalism and secularism were very strong during 1971 except a party called Jamaat. India respects Bangladeshi struggle to get an independent nation instead of being treated as a colony to Pakistan's 'main' land 'West Pakistan'.

Bangladeshis urged major help from Indira Gandhi, the then prime minister of India in establishing an independent country for Bengalis. Bangladesh never wanted to join another country as a state after being treated as a colony of Pakistan. Indira Gandhi being a visionary leader understood the sentiments of Bangladeshi Bengalis and gave support in independence struggle. Mrs. Gandhi was asked if she had any plan to make Bangladesh a state of India. She replied that Bangladeshis are fighting for freedom and India respects the struggle as its similar to India's struggle during British regime. India will never occupy the land. Instead it will act as brother nation to Bangladesh.


Mistake was done in 1947, not in 1971. British should not have created two wings of Pakistan which were alien to each other in terms of culture and language. During a talk show in Indian TV channel Bangladeshi politicians say we did mistake in 1947 by separating East Bengal (Bangladesh) from India but in 1971 we tried to undo our mistake by getting an independent nation.

Seriously it happened for good for everyone. Now you guys take care of your country and we will take care of our country. Most of the generation born after 1971 in Pakistan is actually happy with this arrangement. And besides we have lot of work to do to improve our own countries. Lets stay as friends and try to forget the past.
