Indian medical students to sign return bond if going to the US

look bro we don't have a problem with rural service ...problem is putting a lifetime ban on practice in US...

Yes .. No one has problem with rural postings
Actually I don't even have problem with that perma ban coz I was going to return to India anyways .. I have my own hospital here

But many of friends from non medico backgrounds are facing this problem ..

This reservation is bullshit ..
I know how hard I studied last year .. Didn't watch World cup , didn't watch IPL .
I used to study more than 12 hrs a day .. Still I managed to get a government college in a town not in a metro like Mumbai :(

If this reservation didn't exist I would have been in Mumbai

And now we have reserved category students who didn't pass in terminals and prelims .. 2 of the students didn't even score 35% and are not eligible for university exams ..

This freaking reservation is creating sub standard doctors

In Maharashtra colleges it is 10 lakhs
Differs in every state

yeah true ...none of the General category students ever failed his university exams in our batch ..all the failures were either reserved students or nri's

That's not fair ,certainly....it should be ones personal decision to go wherever one wants to get the training and job of one's liking.

Atleast the students of private colleges should be spared. Those people have already paid a huge amount of money.

I feel for you guys.We don't find it easy here(in Pakistan)either, have to deal with same bunch of retarded dictators.

Disgusting situation indeed.

My great India........
gave my test.............after all the non-sense of reservation and watching lower ranked people getting seats in DMC and Patiala..............got a seat in college.
But my great India.........councelling was cancelled and fees of colleges was increased from 1 lakh per annum to 4 lakh per annum for medical and from 55 thousand to 2,30,000 for dental ( 5 folds)............( not by congress but by Akali-BJP govt.)

my great India.

now a student work his ases off for 5 years .............for a starting salary of 8000 to 10,000 per month.........lol

govt. says there is shortage of 8 lakh doctors...........why the hell you dont hire us?????

Doctors are literally begging in Punjab...............no job......no money............and 20- 25 lakh student loan...........

MY GREAT INDIA

To be successful in India............you have to be a SC or BABA or a politician.....

Just a week back in MY GREAT INDIA

A group of doctors were beaten up by people coz they were giving Cardio pulmonary resuscitation to save the patient ..

And the relatives hammered the doctors and the girl patient died .. Lolzzzz
Such a freaking joke
Makes India a laughing stock in the world

My honest opinion..get a seat in Pvt medical college and get around this rule. I am sure eventhough its not said in the OP this rule is only applicable to Govt medical college graduates. India has a serious shortage of doctors with only one doctor for 1953 people while WHO prescribes one doctor for 1000 people. After spending lakhs in training a doctor (atleast in my state) we can't afford to lose them to countries like US. The rule only says that they should come back and practice in India. They can practice wherever they want in India. Specialists trained in countries like US are in high demand with salaries even touching the 6 figures.

I am a medical student in Odisha. Final yr. its just too hard to get a decent pg seat in any where in India.in my college there are 6 pg seats for pediatrics which i am interested in.out of 6, 3 is of national quota 2 is for general state category and 1 for reserved category. so the F***** bl**dy inference is this f****** CON-GRESS govt cannot understand how much difficult to get a decent pg seat in India.I think sometimes Govt is a bunch of fools who aren't governed. why don't they increase PG seats in India. Another point why don't they impose these restrictions to IITians and IIM. there is also a dearth of good quality research in DRDO, ISRO etc. why only medicos. don't they spend money on IITs , IIMs .

Those people didn't study hard in the 12th and got a Zakat seat in the college for free
They are doing the same in the 1st year too

Busy going out with gal friends , using high tech phones which I could just dream of :P
Doing lukkhagiri for the whole day ..

Last year my college's passing percentage was 88% and the rest 12 students who failed were all from reserved categories .. Lol

Must have happened in some government setting.

In our side ,the government hospital are notorious for such acts. You have no security and protection whatsoever.Unless you are working in private settings or in institutions under supervision of armed forces.

The doctors were giving a CPR to the patient on the open ground not in the hospital

Just blaming Congress won't do sh*t
BJP wouldn't have done any better

Akali dal has already messed up the fees structure in colleges in Punjab

Bcs we produce engineers by the battalions. Also it is a field in which apart from high tech research, degree doesn't matter much. Diploma or ITI with experience will do especially in construction fields. Also they don't play with human life every day.

But I agree that bond should be extended to IITs and IIMs.

just a question to Mr. Azad.........what if we study in US and practice in canada or australia or europe..................US degree is recognized around the globe:devil:

What's the condition of staff working there with the doctors in the periphery. Are they adequately trained to be a helping hand?

In Pak there is severe shortage of well trained nursing staff when we move out from the major cities.

Once i visited a DHQ in Punjab region, there were three doctors 1 pgt, two house officers and no staff at emergency. The Xray dept was looking haunted.....lol.

DRDO is in such sorry state because out of its large employee base only 1% have PhD degree. why don't we extend bonds to those who have completed M.Tech in IITs . even then that fella will be far better position than a doctor. employment in bangalore or other metropolitan area, good salary as a central govt employee. first increase the infrastructure in rural areas then u can force anyone to go there. period.
