RIP soldier!!

But why is it that Pak hasn't answered back to this firing??
Nawaz sharif already sent sunni fighters there but i don't support this action. We should raise this issue on top level and solve it peacefully. I wish that we improve relation with all countries. Unrest in this region is not good for any country.

The big A is ... An average Pakistani still has a higher IQ than an average indian....:)
Explains why Pakistan is the most developed country of South Asia, or is it?

Thing is, out of a billion Indians, Indian cite the few people who live overseas as proof they are some sort of master race.
They actually cite their large and faster growing economy unlike Pakistanis who cite their kid wearing suicide vests.

So we're getting somewhere , as you're saying terrorist groups like Jundullah and Jaishuladl are doing a hide and seek game in the borders of Iran and Pakistan .. they enter from your territories and attacked Iranian (civilian and guards) and then run away to Pakistan ....
first you need to seal your borders, then you gotta fight with these groups or let Iran to deal with them if you are no capable ...

Iran is just as responsible for sealing the border as Pakistan.

As you know, Pakistani forces are normally willing to co-operate with Iranian forces to step up security. We will co-operate to do whatever is realistically achievable at the current time.

At the same time, Iran should not be demanding from Pakistan some miraculous level of border security.

And Iran should stop spreading disinformation concerning Pakistan, as our FO spokeswoman has pointed out.

Some level of trust in Iran has been eroded here; we will see where it leads.

If the Frontier Corps is going to get attacked by Iranians while trying to co-operate with them; maybe Pakistanis should withdraw from the border and allow Iranians to deal with the terrorists as they want.

Iranians might not especially enjoy the war they get into on that border; still, if they want to fight there, maybe Pakistanis should let them take a crack at it without putting our own FC troops in the line of Iranian fire.
The Iranians will probably accuse us of waging a proxy war against them with these insurgents, using the ISI; Pakistanis are damned whatever they do!
No doubt the Iranians will then accuse us of allowing the CIA to wage war against them along this border; Pakistanis just can't win -- if they try to secure the border, they get shot by the Iranians; if they let the Iranians secure the border and deal with the miltants, they will be accused of using the militants in a proxy war!
Good times! :-)

Pakistan tells Iran not to ‘externalise’ its problems

By The Newspaper's Staff Reporter - Updated about an hour ago

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office asked Iran on Friday not to ‘externalise’ its problems, but focus on fighting militancy at home.

“It is not helpful to externalise problems. We need to focus on eliminating terrorism from our countries,” Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said at the weekly media briefing.

She was responding to Iranian threat of hot pursuit of militants allegedly launching cross-border attacks on Iran’s border posts from their sanctuaries in Balochistan province of Pakistan.

Militants belonging to Jaishul Adl have stepped up attacks on Iranian posts along Pakistan-Iran border over the past fortnight. The attacks prompted Iranian officials to ask Pakistan to control the activity on its border or allow them (Iranian border guards) to take action.

“The Pakistani government has practically no control over the border areas, and if they really cannot control the common border, they should tell us so that we ourselves can take action,” an Iranian official was quoted by Iranian media as having said.

Ms Aslam did not outrightly deny cross-border activity and asked Iran to share available evidence with Pakistan.

“There may be cross-border activities or other transnational crimes like narcotic and drug trafficking,” she said. “We believe that if Iran has evidence that elements from Pakistan are involved in activities against Iran, they should share it with us”.

The spokesperson asked Tehran to use the border management committee of the two countries for investigating the allegations.

“With Iran, we have mechanisms like the border management committee.

We have mechanisms which can investigate such events as was done in the past when the Iranian guards were kidnapped and released inside Iran,” she maintained.

But at the same time she challenged Iranian account of the events and said information available with Pakistan suggests that the incidents took place inside Iranian territory and were carried out by Iranian militants.

Emphasising on counter-terrorism cooperation between the two countries she said that Pakistan and Iran were neighbours who shared a long border and both had been affected by the events in this region.

Responding to another question about terrorists’ safe havens along the Pak-Afghan border, the spokesperson said: “We are against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We are also determined not to allow our territory to be used against any other country. We expect that other countries would also not allow their territories to be used against Pakistan. It is a two way responsibility.”

Here is another.. They are targeting FC..

Maybe we Pakistanis should just go ahead and wage a proxy war against Iranians by secretly supporting these insurgents; we'll be accused of it anyway.:pakistan:
The CIA can get in the act as well; it will be just like the good old days when we supported the Afghans against the Soviet Union! :pdf::chilli:

None of them were killed by us. They were killed by your own citizens who picked up arms because of state discrimination against them. The problem of insurgency in Iran lies in Tehran. If your leaders can't take all of their people into a single nation, the insurgency Iran faces will be perpetual and possibly detrimental.

Jundullah is a Sunni terrorist group armed and supported by Saudia with the help of Pakistan. Pakistan is losing friends in international arenas very quickly. Sooner or later Pakistan is going to be declared a dangerous state along with countries like North Korea. Pakistanis must be so proud.

All these are excuses. At the end of the day PA is lacking and the results show on the ground when the tallies are done.

not sure what your point is.. but the tallies differ due to the reason i stated in my earlier post and i restate; Indians villages are far from border, Pakistani villages are nearer. Pakistan Army has to be cautious while firing at LoC in order top save innocents lives and main target is only Indian check posts.. because if army can kill one Indian it can kill two too..

Rest I agree with you! Army considers itself Mulsim first and Pakistani later.

Yeah we got plenty of experience in shaping new countries out of a country...lolz..ask Russia..

See what I mean? No matter what we do, we are accused of supporting terrorists, even if with no evidence.

Fair enough then; may as well just go ahead and support the terrorists and see how Iran enjoys the resulting proxy war.
