What's new

Israel successfully test-fires a new long-range ballistic missile.

Imho, they are planing for the future - while the hostile countries are around them, the truly dangerous ones aren't.

Whats interesting is how they can use them as semi -deterrent if they can't acknowledge having nuclear weapons without repercussions..then again, things might change in the not so far away future..

Israel just showing what it can do & what many of it's enemy's don't, a reminder who's boss.
And it's show's the Israeli public that the IDF prepares to defend it from as many threats as possibly.
Anyway, good for Israel.

Apparently, @Pakistanisage and his Saudi compatriots have a Obsessive Compulsive Disorder with regards to Iran and Shia's in general.

The thread will be about one topic and they will drag Shia and Iran into the thread.

BTW, they probably consider you a Shia now.

Let just take it one by one at a time.

A- Just so you know, neither @Pakistanisage or his Saudi friends brought Iran out of nowhere. These posts defend our claim that we didn't do so :-

B- Next time, when you see/hear about Israel conduct a test on a new weapon, please be aware that Iran will naturally be mentioned. This will save a face later on.

Ironically, the one who started ranting at me DID speak about Iran.

Those weapons aren't going to defend anyone in Israel - they are simply there for the "F.. you" option if Israel loses a war - which is natural, since any lost major war will mean the end of the Israel state.
If they are used, they are finished either way

It's basically their way of saying to Europe/USA "you don't want to/ can't afford to let us be destroyed, if it gets to that" :)

Well, maybe. I don't know.
But you could still say that this would be some kind of defense/protect-mechanism in its one way.

Smart Jews. :smart:

Iran is spreading unrest in the region and making it more volatile!
Yes. One need only look at the difference between the mullah and the Israeli version of the story. The Iranian one is deliberately phrased to make Israel out as intent on committing aggression - indeed, that the 2008 launch was, itself, an attempt to strike Iran! People who don't want to believe that they have been miseducated about Israel and Jews since practically the day of their birth are all-too-ready to accept this rather than see the word tricks of the story, yes?

Says you and a bunch of journalists, who cares about truth and evidence when it comes to hating Israel, that's something you like to do blindly.
Says facts. Why does israel need 10,000 km+ missile capable of carrying 1 ton warhead?

So stating facts is hating? Oooh, okay.

Evidence that missiles for more than 4-5km range were tested please? oh I forgot, facts are not important if they are in the way of the popular pastime of blind hate.
So you're saying israel doesn't have missile with more than 4-5 km?:what:

Sure, Israel is threatening to nuke the word, but oh, wait, Israel didn't admit to have nuclear weapons.
So according to you Israel is threatening to nuke the world, without admitting having nukes, without actually ever saying a threatening words against anyone which is not a clear enemy.

Israel doesn't need to admit to possessing them when it has reactors.

"In 1986, based on information supplied by ex-Dimona nuclear technician Moredechai Vanunu, later convicted of treason, the Sunday Times of London estimated that Israel had produced more than 100 nuclear warheads."

Israel now has 80 nuclear warheads, report says | The Times of Israel

though according to former US Pres. Jimmy Carter, israel possess more than 300 WMD's.

Israel is a religious fanatic only in your demented mind. In reality the seculars have won the current elections and the religious parties are not currently in government. There are movements to allow farther breach of the statues quo with the religious Jews about such issues as opening businesses in Sabbath, public transportation, etc. But you wouldn't know, nor care about any of these since you can sit and imagine your own little reality where

Yes, israel is a fanatical suicidal state that will drag the rest of the world into chaos once it has become apparent that its own existence is under threat. AKA Samson "option".

Such religious fanaticism is comparable to a fanatical suicide bomber killing himself and taking tens of hundreds of people down with him.

Israel is the devil and responsible for all your and your people's troubles.

I never said that. Is this your guilty conscious speaking?

Israeli nemesis is within.

Israel also launch satellites from time to time, so i think it maybe test for SLV motor

Israel has no enemies outside of the ME and any potential enemies outside SA.

So again, why does israel need a long range missile with 10,000+ km range?

what if China and Russia join hands in future against US+Isreal led attack on Iran? Isreal does not have any direct enemies outside SA but its enemies do have direct friends outside SA.

Do you know how many Saudis and Pakistanis died to make Pakistan a far-fetched objective for the USSR?

Can you please let me know. I am unaware of this. Or let me know what are you refering to.

Oh we are sorry, we should have said 'Innocent and peaceful Israeli military' test fired a 5,000km range missile with warheads filled with flowers and roses to spread peace in Middle East, while the 'Evil and Lunatic Iranian military' test fired a missile with 300 km range to attack all the countries in the region, while there are rumors that Iran is also planning to attack the moon.

The Mainstream Media says Iran's long range missiles are for attacking Europe, Israel and U.S allies while Israel's missiles and nukes are for 'defending' itself. The ridiculous point is, Israel doesn't have any enemy beyond 3,000 km range, yet we should all accept that it has 'peace' in mind while testing this long range missile.
Israel's existence is endangered when it doesn't have a 'bogeyman' to blame everything on her and to justify its aggression.
