055 has started construction
it has two phases; phase A and phase B
its combat displacement is 12,000 metric tons

engines; 4 QC280, gas turbine Hybrid Electric propulsion system for phase A, and phase B is integrated electric propulsion (IEP) system

no rail gun or any sort of plasma gun```but do have a laser device (he did not specify)
its Third Gen dual bands AESA is a class of its own, not even the AMDR specially designed for Arleight Burke Flight III can match its capability

has 96-112 units of VLS
new long range anti-air missile, much more capable than HQ-9
Long range cruise missile

J-20 No.2015 is very close to final condition,
J-20 doesnt use Russian 99M2 as most foreign 'experts' and Russia media claimed
it uses improved third gen turbofan, domestic
phase A wont have WS-15 but domestic improved third gen turbofan, Max 14.3 metric tons thrusts
phase B will be fit with WS-15
J-20 deployment version will have soft laser weapon, not to shoot down a plane or kill a ground target, but to 'kill' infrared guided missiles

I have a question about thrust to weight ratio of J-20, if J-20 engine is WS-10X what is the thrust to weight ratio with current engine? and what is the projected thrust to weight ratio with WS-15?, projected thrust of WS-15 are 18000 KGF, can somebody explain me?

there are different types of TTWR, but the combat ready TTWR is the most important one, which means the weight has to include 50% fuel plus 2 SAAMs and 4 AMRAAMs

the empty weight of J-20 is unkown, but can be worked out based on current F-22's known weight``and the variation can be 8% so it would be in the range from 19 tons to 21 tons, hence the combat ready weight would be around 29 tons to 31 tons````therefore with two 14.3 ton WS-10Gs, J-20 can merely achieve combat ready ratio to 0.9, but with WS-15 estimated 16 ton plus thrust J-20's TTWR can be well over 1.0

055 destroyer is very much on schedule, will be deployed in 2019, and big quantity will follow

first indigenous aircraft carrier will appear this year, can be considered an upgrade version of the current AC, bigger and better, but still ski-jump

the second steam catapult AC will start construction in 2016, and the construction location is in Jiangnan area`````
the third one, no confirmation of time, is nuclear and with Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System!

new AIP/nuclear subs are doing quite well, when they are deployed in 7 years time, can challenge the US in the open sea!

Its not a TVC engine!!! Its a Single Engine Take Off Test!!! If you notice, the one nozzle's bleeding and the other one's stationary, probably wide open, producing minimal thrust or no thrust at all.

There is a series of tests the manufacturer would conduct to see the air worthiness of a twin engine aircraft running on single engine, and associated performance gaps as engines do fail or get damaged. TVC 3-D is no where in these nozzles, the entire nozzle would look different. You can just tell by the petals and associated positioning.

you are correct, that picture has nothing to do with TVC

but a type of domestic 3D TVC engine will appear within 2 years time (does not include this year) according to a reliably source

no, these are really classified```but surely based on the current momentum of rapid development and investment, these projects do exist, but at least half decade before we know anything solid
