In 2018 election Zulfiqar Dulha was candidate of MPA for PMLN and Major Tahir Iqbal (Son-in-Law of Gen Majeed Malik) was candidate for MNA from PMLN, he was covering candidate for Major Tahir Iqbal.
PTI awarded ticket to Sardar Ghulam for MNA and his nephew was candidate for MPA against Zulfiqar Dulha.
Election Tribunal comprising of two LHC judges rejected the nomination papers of Major Tahir, Sardar Abbas, and Sardar Aftab on same day, PTI awarded ticket to PMLN's Zulfiqar Dulha, though ex-MNA Ayaz Amir was also willing to take ticket of either PMLN or PTI. Zulfiqar Dulha friend of sons of Mr. Hameed of Latifal baged one of the highest numbers of votes from Pakistan.
Interestingly, Sardar Aftab Akbar, remained candidate for MPA from PTI and no one objected his nomination papers so he contested the election on PTI ticket.
The lawyer of PTI in this case became President of Supreme Court Bar association, the judge of LHC became Judge of Supreme Court (as out of turn nomination) nominated by Justice Saqib NIsar.
