Should I pity the naivety or should I be worried about the lack of vision and understanding?

Imagine if china said the same about India, I doubt you would just call it diplomatic speak.

And don't forget how Russia snubbed the Indian navy vessel.

Just recall the news when unofficial reports from China said that Uyghur Separatist were being trained in Pakistan ... Indians literally started to jump up and down It was propagated far and wide by their media ... But ofcourse things are different this time since its Pakistan ...

Its rather amusing to see the turn of events.
Back in the 80s the Pakistanis were friends to the Americans and helping the enemies of the Soviet Union.
Now,although the Soviet Union is no more,most of it is still intact in the form of Russia.Now the Americans are gradually turning into enemies and the Russians are turning into friends.What an irony!!

Well I might agree with your post if you say the same about those statements by US etc against Pakistan which usually Indians(including you) brag about.

Thanks to our last 50 years hard work in international relation. Now, we are in extremely good position.

On one hand, We have very strong relation with Russia (50 year old time-tested relation). We can Buy anything from Russia. We already have more than 50 Bn $ defence deal with them which will last for next 20 years minimum. IMO, Still Russia will be our best friend for very long time to come due to many reasons.

Also on other hand, U.S. is ready to sell anything to India. Few offers made recently Patriot, F-A/18 Super Hornet, F-35 and more.

We have good relation with France, Germany, U.K. and other European countries too. Israel is our one of the closest allies.

Top 5 defence exporters as per our need 1> USA 2> Russia 3> Germany 4> U.K. 5> Israel and we have good relation with all 5.

I don't think there's anything wrong in Russia and Pakistan getting closer. In fact Russia maybe able to get Pakistan and India closer on issues like trade, economy and terrorism considering that is what the SCO is about.

You should realize the difference between accusations based on evidence painstakingly collected and simple diplomatic speak. If US says India is the "most important partner" - it will be taken with a pinch of salt because we know where our priorities lie and how to deal with other countries.

Unlike Pakistan, which had been under the US's wings for a long period creating nuisance all over the place as and when it pleased. Seeing those days of the 'carte blanche' numbered, it turned to China - the 'all weather fraand' which has done literally nothing for the upliftment of Pakistan except for Chini-Pakistan 'love'/Bhai Bhai/Fraandshiip thing type soundbites.

And now Russia utters a few diplomatic niceties and without as much as a study of context, you boys go all drooling over it like a hormonally driven teen behaving crazy the first time he lays his hands on a Hustler mag!
Says two things: Lack of self-respect. And Lack of vision for the nation.

Pakistan important strategic partner, china with Pakistan.

Plenty of context, I think the statement is remarkable given that a few years ago it was unthinkable, that initself is big, don't try and deny it, a few years ago this would have been laughable to think Russia would say this.

I can very well blame you of manipulating things as you see fit ... well surely Indians start to celebrate it like Diwali when some unofficial reports say that Uyghur extremist were trained in Pakistan even going to the extent of calling it " Major rift between Pakistan and China " and finally the Chinese are learning their lesson ... The same happens when US accuses Pakistan over Afghan issues ... Indians consider these as " Gospel truth " based on painstakingly collected evidence ... but when India's ally " Russia " calls Pakistan the most important partner in the region , things finally change ! It becomes just diplomatic speak and nothing else ... Even though Russia announces $ 500 million for the project to export electricity to Pakistan from Central Asian states ... What sort of absurd logic is that ? You guys been on the side of USSR for the last 5 decades and it doesn't make a difference when your best friend lauds your arch rival Would you have replied the same if China said the same thing about India ?

Says two things " You either are feeling insecure " or Indian foreign policy has failed again !
