Pakistan may enter terror financing list: 10 ways its economy will bleed

That is what I thought too.

Had the concerned posters red the article, they would know what the source is. This is not an 'Indian' article. In fact, it is not an article per se. In journalism, its called a curation. The information has been curated strictly from two sources: Reuters (for the most part) and Dawn. In fact, the Reuters articles concerned are linked within the text itself, at relevant portions. With the Indian articles only being used as 'Also read'.

so the whole world is seeing Pakistan as terrorist state, but interestingly People of Pakistan think it's due to jealously concerning cpec, man this cpec should be something amazing and unprecedented something like which world has never seen before and hence everyone else is afraid.
correct, saudi being member of this forum doesn't support any terrorism

For those who would like to read about the impact in long-form, from a 'non-Indian source', here they are:

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...o-terrorist-financing-gray-list-idUSKCN1G00PB

https://in.reuters.com/article/paki...l-terrorist-financing-watchlist-idINKCN1FX2E9

Of course, had people red even the 'Indian' curation, they would have spotted the statement by Pakistan's former counter-terrorism chief, Khawaja Khalid Farooq. What did he say? "It can hurt the economy very badly."

If you're going to be part of forums where discussions take place, at the least do your basic research. Google will be your friend.

Good day

Do it as soon as possible.. We wanna completly move with Russia/china/turkey and iran.. Go to hell yankies..

Pakistan is in the dock at the ongoing FATF meeting in Paris, with the sword of being put back on the grey list of terror financing countries hanging on its head. Interestingly, this is the FIRST TIME in the body's history that four nations have singled out another nation at the same time for censure.

There seem to be many misconceptions about how being put on the list would hurt Pakistan's economy, with many members believing that it will have negligible impact. However, that may be far from the truth. The most significant impact could be that this time around, it could push Pakistan into a balance of payments crisis (Last time, according to reports, Pak was on the list when it neared a BoP but it was bailed out by the IMF. This time, with the US leading the motion at FATF and holding IMF's purse strings, this might not be so feasible).

Before discussing, please read the article and then debate on the salient points.

Pakistan got only two years exemption and that is 2016 and 2017 and it will not make any difference literally but make Pakistan way away from US and this will lead Pakistan non corporation to US for indefinite time or may be it was last cooperation Pakistan did to US in past.

welcome to hypocrisy .

A country lost more than 70,000 civilians and lost 100 billion dollar economy after becoming part
of so called war on terror is being considered a terrorist state .

A group of states that have been bombing illegally 7 countries are saint. Dropping bombs on hospitals and firing cruise missiles mistakenly are legal in international laws.

Saints were silent when there had been daily bomb blasts in Pakistan .Now they cry when peace and stability is returning in Pakistan.

Whats more dangerous a pack of hungry and wild wolves OR a couple of domesticated and well fed dogs ?
210 Million people with no sense or reason to do any thing OR 10 Million militants knocking at India's door (The self proclaimed future global economic and super power)?
A quiet and unpredictable Superpower OR a Desperate and screaming Superpower?
Americas Failure in Afghanistan OR Americas Failure in Pakistan and the rest of the world?
These questions are take from various driven conclusions from the aforementioned subject and its details.
COUGH. Military does not take risks It makes decisions and these decisions are never bigger then its capacity because its essential part of its training.
Some time Failures are not accepted as failures and showed as diplomatic moves, trapping tactics, part of a bigger plan and pressure tactics like grey listing to create a counter argument for Failure to retain the last bits and pieces self respect of a superpower :)

Like a pro...huh:lol:. You were in one camp, now they are screwing you. now you want to jump into another.
We absolutely know the enemy and friends. US was never be a our friend. US only utilized us for her interests only.. There is nothing any such thing like international law but only US interests and favoritism which we have understood now. It's our time today tommorow would be your's day in thier blue green gray black list.. You just need one thing to be in a list which is disobey their unwarranted orders and concerns.

Did this even make the news in Pakistan?

No.

We have a 70 year old getting married hogging the news. We got Trump like problem bubbling and nobody cares for loose change in Pakistan.

Now indians,

Feel free to troll and use this as a feel good thread. Chop chop

And what makes you so sure that you wont be used again? dont worry about us, we are in all camps at the same time in no camp.

They have a word for it.....but lets try this

Instead of boasting about your seduction prowess as mythical as the kamasutra. You can look that you are being used and abused by all. But since your so proud of your country you made it here. So rest assure pakistan or pakistanis dont worry for you lot.
