Because it's not Pakistan who's building schools, hospitals, roads, food in Afghanistan.

It is, the international media isn't focused on it though. About 26% of all imports Afghanistan gets is from Pakistan (it used to be as high as 45% pre-2001, before the US got involved in the WOT) without including all the smuggled goods that go through Chaman & Torkham. They even used Pakistani fertilizer for IED explosives, rather than using them for growing crops (other than opium). Pakistan recently invested $500 million in Afghanistan in building various educational institutions, hospitals in Afghanistan. Islamabad also committed another $330 million in Afghanistan towards development of health, infrastructure and education sectors in Afghanistan.

Smuggled stuff that Afghanistan gets from Pakistan (which is a lot) comes at the expense of Pakistan's economy though.

The Afghans blame everyone for their problems. They even blame Iran for its problems, & Iran has an even more negative perception than Pakistan does in the eyes of many Afghan people.

The Haqqanis, Osama bin Laden, Mullah Omar, Hekmatyar were all part of the Mujahideen as well. The Taliban did not resort to suicide bombings either pre 2001, even though they were brutal. The Taliban were brought into power by the Afghan people, who were tired of the corrupt warlords, the same people the Afghan people are tired of today. Even though the Taliban are cold blooded & cruel, & resort to violence against innocent civilians, in the eyes of the Afghan people, they are their own people. The foreign US/NATO Forces are not their own people. Unless the Afghan people stop letting other nations use their country as proxy land, & start assuming responsibility themselves, Afghanistan will always have huge problems. It is ethnic divisions, & this slave mentality in Afghanistan & in the Afghan people that is the root cause for all problems in Afghanistan. The foreign troops are seen as occupiers/invaders by many, & the rest of the Afghan people that don't see them that way are willing to let them use Afghanistan as proxy land, rather than assuming responsibility for themselves. They are too divided, & there is a lack of resolve in the Afghan people to solve their own problems.

Buddy for the bold part, I think you missed to read my reply on page 3 post 1. I know there were no such things I mentioned among Taliban before 2001 because they had only faced NA who were not that much powerful as the US/NATO/ANA that's why Taliban have adopted cheap methods of attacks by giving more damage to the civilians rather their targets. All Afghans thinks them invaders but some who don't say it may fear losing their chair or even life.

You need to update your information. Now that Pakistan's population has grown, Pakistan has more Muslims and has 97% Muslim population. India has a 13% Muslim population. 10 years ago, India had more Muslims because India's total population was 1 billion and Pakistan's population was less than 150 million. Today Pakistan has 185 million population (which includes Afghan refugees who intermarried with Pakistanis and have children and became Pakistani citizens).

Is the 70% control area wise or population wise?? Since I think population of Afghanistan is concentrated in a few urban centers only.. with rest of the country very sparsely populated..
