That's too high .. in Pakistan it is 13.4 right now and i consider it high as well
Inflation should be under 10

A lot of countries being hit with this. But with Turkey it's been coming for a few years even before the pandemic.

Erdogan's economic policies have not been great. His interest rate cuts spurred this on.

Now we're seeing a shift back to GCC from him, which would suggest he needs financial support.

Lets hope that country doesn't erupt. This level of inflation is too much for any country to survive.

Still much much less compared to Indonesia during Soekarno period

Despite the problems in it's economic system , Turkey's military capabilities are still unmatched by any mediterranean country other than Israel. Greece and others loom under the shadow of turkey's military power .

Yes but Turkiye 700+ military projects regional superpower 🙄
It is a regional power , there isn't any doubt about it

Didn't Greece go through the same recently? You could have added some tips for Turks after sarcasm.
No,we had an economic crisis but stayed in the Euro. We had austerity measures imposed by the EU and IMF and it was more of a debt crisis rather than inflation.

Why would I add tips for Turks? For 10 years they had been mocking us with things like "haha Greece bankrupt,I buy your country for 1 euro" and other comments.

In normal times this would be bad news but as the whole world is plunging into the contraction, it would not harm them to much, on the contrary it could help them.

You can laugh fellow greek but when indkation in EU bursts out and spill over to Greece during late summer and early automn, remember what you laughed at.
