US scientist predicts China's actual nuclear stockpile is 3600

After the surprise taxi trials of j20, tests of anti ship ballistic missile I am not at all surprised with this .:china:

What are the steps taken by China regarding the anti ballistic missile defence front.

“Bunker busters” penetrate about 4-5 meters of solid rock, maximum. Our nuclear storage is in the range of high tens of meters, possible up to 100 meters, below ground. Its going nowhere. I don't think they're going to get 10+ successive strikes with bunker busters on 1 exact location.

To win WW3 the objective is not to kill as much of the enemy as possible, as destruction of at least 50% of surface population should be assumed, but to survive your own nuclear assets and offensive forces (aircraft) so that you can hit back once the nukes stop raining.

America is developing a new generation of smaller, super-hardened nuclear weapons to smash through rock and concrete and attack underground bunkers where enemy states could build weapons of mass destruction.

The new weapons are designed to attack deep underground facilities beyond the reach of conventional weapons, including the latest "bunker-busters", such as the thermobaric bomb used against al-Qa'ida tunnel complexes in the mountains of Afghanistan

These are new types of weapons I think they were thinking of using them in Tora Bora before

US conventional earth penetrating weapons (EPW) the GBU-28 and GBU-37 can break through 6m of reinforced concrete or 30m of earth

Think about these new gen nuclear buster bombs they would penetrate more then 30 metres easily.

See how thick these blast doors are must be made from titanium or some kinda composites

The US did not report on the underground complex for an easy reason:

It is prepared to go to nuclear war with China in order to preserve the power of the Wall Street-Pentagon military regime. And it is willing to sacrifice hundreds of millions of Americans for the profit of the few who hide in nuclear bomb shelters at Camp David.

In order to do this it must trick Americans into thinking they're safe from nuclear annihilation. They must convince Americans that it is strategically acceptable to lose "a few million here and there" in order to "contain" China.

This hypothetical Wall Street-Pentagon military regime cannot preserve its power if its willing to sacrifice hundreds of millions of Americans because its power is derived from those hundreds of millions of Americans. The correct method of preserving power is to oppress and terrify (or coddle) that base into submission, not sacrifice it:lol:

There is no profit for the wealthy and the powerful from a full blown nuclear war (in the affected countries)

You argue that this blah blah military regime will preserve its power by destroying its power base, and Wall street 'merchants/bankers will profit by destroying the (monetarily) largest consumer market in the world? Absurd.:disagree:

the United States is spending $35 billion a year—14 percent of the defense budget, or $96 million a day—on nuclear efforts of which about $25 billion goes for operation and maintenance of the nuclear arsenal

- Brookings Institution

3600 is a over statement , looking at chinese defence budget no point china spending that bigger amount on maintaning these 3600 warheads ..

That is the difference.
Chinese doesn't disclose anything in so open. for me 3600 may be true if not 2500 must be true.
btw Regarding maintainance , costs are low in china due to low cost labour:lol:

They're held in storage, not active. You can't launch from 100 m below the surface. But they can be saved, along with separately stored launch vehicles, for a 2nd strike after the first, after raising them to the surface.

All nuclear bombs have half-life, you cant just store it away, you need alot of resources just to keep it from decaying.

Watch Dr. Strangelove sometime. Keeping numbers secret goes against the deterent purpose of strategic weapons. If anything, you want to inflate the number you have.

I always heard that USA and Russia are impenetrable with all their anti ICBM and satellites warning them? How could USA possibly be affected by a nuclear war :P
