Here is the reality ................... No americans were invovled in the operation .All were the Pastuns and when the heli came to pick them up it was already planted with bomb as soon as it was about to fly they blew it off............... They used that so called stealth just to tell the world that we were really there in whole of this worst then bollywood drama.......................

If Americans were invovled in the operation then whole bunch of those professional marines or seal died with the blast in the heli.........

What I was wondering at was the amount of time it took to complete the operation, considering that the SEALS were up against a handful of people.

Dumping the body was a silly thing to do. Now even more people are going to get angry. Simple folks getting worked up when they read about it over and over without looking at the bigger picture.

While I am personally VERY alarmed at the location of osama and other factors in Pakistan, and fully support the elimination of the enemies of the US, just jumping on the "blow them up" bandwagon is quite simply stupid. How about we wait and find out whats going on before jumping to conclusions.
The situation in Pakistan is complex. Lets see how things develop. They have been fighting terrorists. They have lost lives to the fighting. They have lost roughly 35,000 civilians. So they have made sacrifices. Lets find out whats REALLY going on before thinking about getting crazy.

i give my opinions based on norwegian news, as far as i know it was only the wife that was armed and gave them a 40 min long resistance! hahaha it is laughable if that actually happened!

actually the shooting lasted just a couple minutes. The rest of the time was spent ripping the house apart for intelligence.

Let's play out the worst case scenario: Pakistan intercepts the Americans and there is a firefight. All the American hardware across the border is useless unless they are going to fire missiles into Abbotabad. Any choppers will take an hour to get there, and the planes can only drop bombs. Certainly, the US can retaliate later and destroy Pakistan's military, but what would that achieve? Bin Laden would have escaped by then. And, more importantly, the Americans would have some explaining to do since, even according to Obama, the US only had 60-80% certainty that the person in the compound was actually bin Laden. The Republicans and media would have ripped the Obama administration apart for going to war with Pakistan over a 60-80% probability.

Were the 100k NATO troops aware of the "top secret" operation and mobilized to enter Pakistan? Was NATO prepared and authorized to invade Pakistan based on a 60-80% probability?

As for Indians, if they dared to meddle while Pakistan was engaged with NATO, there would be nuclear clouds over India. NATO would make it crystal clear to India not to try and take advantage of the situation.
