Vietnamese girls studying in China: Vlogs

Chinese language is not much popular in Vietnam schools and universities. Japanese and Koreans languages are more popular because of their attractive culture and possibility of immigration. English, French are the most common foreign languages that are taught. Chinese is more for some Vietnamese that are curious to discover what ist that country - China?
If you like to learn Chinese, you are welcome, if you don't, we don't care... Simple.

These days there is a stat Vietnam students make up the majority in Finland universities. You see the parents have free choices as long as they can afford the fees. The government hardly hinders them to study abroad, no matter whether evil capitalism or not.
Finland?
Interesting I believe, most Vietnamese can’t even point it on the map

How many vn students in Finland? A dozen??
It is not about your students going abroad, as the number is not significant, but about the higher education in your home country, which your government won't let the western influence dominate, otherwise, VCP get in trouble. Don't have to be up to western standard of higher education, which you can't achieve anyway, but even the western style higher education could ruin your government's rule...

Don’t you read the article?
VN Students make up the majority of all foreign students.
It’s not about like or dislike. Question is what are the benefits when studying chinese language and attending chinese universities comparing to let’s say in Germany or Finland?
Finding a job or getting chinese citizenship is impossible not to mention impossible to get into top chinese universities.

I have a relative who currently studies here. After graduation she can apply for a job, she can stay here, buy property, get citizenship, freely travel, do everything like other Europeans all in Europe.

China in contrast is a closed club exclusively reserved for chinese. Impossible to have anything done if you don’t know chinese that know other chinese that know chinese corrupt officials.

You are like Germany 40 years ago, or Japan 10 years ago, that considers foreigners as unwanted aliens.

I agree with you.
Actually not just China, this is almost true for most Asian countries.
I think we should be more open for foreigner talents.

Her name : Vân Anh mean beautiful cloud.

Van is Yun, like Yunnan ( cloud in the South)

Actually all of Kinh ethic name is Han's names.

Anh is from this Cnese words : 1. “Trâm” là để cài tóc, “anh” là giải mũ. Ngày xưa, chỉ mũ áo trang sức của người hiển quý. “Trâm anh” .

chỉ người quan cao, hiển quý. ◇Tam quốc diễn nghĩa : “Cửu văn công thế đại trâm anh, hà bất lập ư miếu đường?” , ? (Đệ lục thập hồi)

The title : Đi chơi Nhật Tân Lầu mean go to New Sun build/mall

Is it the same meaning New Sun building/mall in CNese??
Yes. It is a mall in Jilin University campus, called '日新楼' . 日 means 'sun'; 新 means 'new', and 楼 means 'building'.
