What's new

Sad shameful situation - student from India stalking white woman, why is this a pattern.

This reads like a Muslim playing stereotypes. What is Hindutva types. Most of Indians working in IT are south Indian. We don't hate Muslims but hate anyone wearing religion on their sleeves like you. Now here is what Georgia governor said recently about Indians in his state.
Unlike you who would want to brush an entire community with a single incident, he understands the value we bring to this country.
I would rather suggest your countrymen to read up more so they can come out of stitching chaddis and do something worthwhile in host countries. Everywhere you are among the poorest in that societies.

Gora validation de dia. Mission complete.

I have many Muslims working in my team here in US and from India. They speak Indian languages and are happily integrated in our teams. Stop playing victim and work to reach your goals. No one gave us anything in platter.

Since the over whelming majority of IT labor and managers in Silicon Valley are Hindus, it is incumbent on them to follow US anti-discrimination law.

Majority of H1B's did not even go to school here - as evidenced by the sub-par English skills. Still they act like they "own" the company they work at.

Any attempt to circumvent and defeat California anti-discrimination laws with nepotism and religious discrimination will be met by targeted boycott of companies and public exposure. We are tracking all cases and have periodic meetings with the EEOC on these cases.

There are plenty of groups who are disgruntled at the takeover of IT jobs by cheap Indian back-office companies and their agents. Their help will also be enlisted.

This is not India and this is not the eighties, we have laws here and this is a first world country. Feeble-brained H1B's are clueless about this.

He should be let off with a fine and a record. Anymore of such behavior and he should be dealt with accordingly.

I respectfully disagree.

I believe in second chances and this event was in fact his second chance. The lady mentions in her conversation that this has happened before. A simple police report was made and he stopped bothering for about 2 years.

International students esp desi need to realize that they are coming here for a singular purpose. Yes, one can fool around but stalking people like that, engaging with minors, etc is unacceptable.

US law for students and visitors is VERY strict. Visas get canceled/revoked on something as small as shoplifting a low-value item while this act of stalking is a misdemeanor is much more serious.

These bad apples (all-inclusive - Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi...any SAs) give us a bad name and further damage our image as reasonable people.

Agreed then. But "desi" is not us and what other South Asians do does not necessarily affect Pakistanis.

For example in the Simpsons, Pakistanis and Indians are depicted as different people. The subcontinent is a huge place with so much diversity on all categories.

People tend to group folks with their skin color and stereotypes affect all of them. Stereotypes esp coming from not well-educated people.

A Sikh dude was beaten up because some stupid person didn't know they are not Muslims and judged him by his cap.

That said I included Pakistanis here because they are not far off in committing such evil crimes. Have you seen the recent Pakistani student in UK that was caught in a sting trying to meet up with a minor?

There's nothing wrong in admitting that a lot of our people have yet to grow in maturity. I myself am not the wisest but I do know where I need to improve as a person and improve my people's image as a community.

Oh please gandhi, just google Indians and their filthy ways here in Silicon Valley. Constants discrimination against other Indians and then you subhumans play the victim card. Filthy subhuman vermins!

That is quite laudable and exemplary because yes, India's cream of their crop comes over. However I hope the majority of these educated Indians (Upper class Hindus) would rise above their narrow societal prejudice and communal feelings and stop supporting political groups who'd victimize Muslims and people outside of the majority group, even in the US.

I mean - in a new country, you need to revamp your values. If I saw a qualified Hindu kid, I wouldn't bat one eyelash about hiring him. Unfortunately, the reverse is seldom true, especially in Silicon Valley. That place is full of Hindutva people dumping on even Indian Dalits, forget Muslims. They bring their prejudices with their luggage and can't let go.

@RiazHaq bhai your thoughts - do you see any hope with younger children (next generation) of Hindu families in Silicon Valley?

Your intent of the post is to put -ve impressions about Indian Hindu students and generalising the habbits.

Just a reminder, I have also few observations about few sections of people from Pakistan and BD and their views while hiring in my team…Exactly the same way, you pointed out from your end…

Well guess what, Indians and Pakistanis are not always the same color. Latinos can also be similar to us in color and so can North Africans.

I never claimed Pakistanis don't do such things. We've got enough of these people abroad giving us a bad name.

Regardless of that UK student, plenty of Pakistani migrants there don't integrate properly and continue on with this mullah culture. I thought it was mainly a muhajir thing, but the Punjabi middle class and Kashmiri middle class there also have serious issues.

Think of what happened in Turkey last year. Although some Turks blew it out of proportion; especially considering how foreign women are harassed by local Turks every now and then.

There was a libtard Turkish women who spammed video after video with her stupid essay. I was considering posting it here to show the mindset of kemalist white turks, but I decided against it.

It could really trigger many Pakistanis on this forum. I flagged her posts and even her profile. However it does not excuse the behavior of these jahill scums.

At least one of them was already suspected by the FIA of being involved in human trafficking. So there needs to be accountability.

UNLIKE YOU SAAR WHO WOULD WANT TO BRUSH ENTIRE COMMUNITY UNDER SINGLE INCIDENT, I BELIEWE ENTIRE MUJLIM COMMUNITY USES WICTIM CARD REGULARLY *HEAD BOBBLE*

But that's what YOU think since you have a good grasp of your genetics...I am speaking from the Western people's point of view. To them, all the ppl from China, Japan, Korea, etc are the same...asians

All the people from Latin, South American countries, Mexico are Hispanics

All the people from SA are brown people. Yes, South Indians are not much like Pakistanis but what about Iranians? People don't have the time nor the patience to make such distinctions, esp when they are itching to judge or stereotype.

I myself have been mistaken as Hispanic and admonished for not knowing my mother tongue (Spanish 😂 )...

But that's not even the point, you seem to have taken an offense being equated to Indians. I mean, what kind of superiority do you feel Pakistanis have over them? or vice versa?

Yes I take offense to being equated to people that are not from my land. And meeting tons of North Indians in Canada, our "similar looks" are very much exaggerated.

They do not look too much like us on average. And no, Westerners clearly distinguish Japanese from Chinese, although Koreans not as much.

Indians as a country are stereotyped enough. And Pakistanis face different negative stereotypes, mostly related to Islamic extremism and terrorism.

Indians are mostly stereotyped for their accents, they're also called "curry lovers" which are not necessarily coherent with separate stereotypes against Pakistanis, which are still negative.

You mentioned Latinos, but do Brazilians fall under this label?

Not trying to be offensive but...

I mean, the superiority complex here is nuts! Your grand grand father and their elders were from the same country before the British gave us a new identity... Let's imagine Pakistan splits in 4, then you will be offended being once equated to whichever province you don't belong from? Wth?

The ONLY thing a person can somewhat feel superior is gene exclusivity such as average height, average skin color, etc, You know the things media propagates as desirable. And even then it's completely individual. A person from Germany (Average tallest) can have a height of 5'8'...

I just gave you an example of how a Sikh bro was beaten up, just because of his cap, mistaken for a Muslim...

Indian and Pakistani foods are almost the same, we love curry too..India just did a better job in capturing the world's view of curry/ spice export, and food business than Pakistanis who sadly did their best in extremism...

No, but are you able to identify and properly differentiate between a person from Brazil vs Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela without asking them?

But the bottom ask is who cares if someone even mistakenly would think you are from India? Like does that morph you into a lesser being? Why do South Asians have this weird ego-stroking issue?

Even this thread was primarily started for this very purpose, which in turn attracted Indias to do the same against Pakistanis and Bangladeshis... I couldn't care less about the childish behavior from all the sides here but where exactly does it stop?

You guys do not have to like each other but realize that the evil that every person in this world is pre-disposed to do is not relative to their genes holding a higher moral standard.

On the evening of September 7, 2021, Officer Sutton responded to a call in reference to suspicious activity. Upon arrival, he met the caller who stated she was being followed by a friend ("Ramesh"). She explained that the suspect had a history of contacting her despite her requests to stop.

Earlier that day, she told Officer Sutton that the suspect had called her and admitted to following her all day using a GPS tracker he had placed on her vehicle. He had said he felt bad about it and wished to remove the tracker. He had asked her to meet him at a gas station. At that point, she had called 911.

While Officer Sutton searched the vehicle for the tracker, Officer Nguyen located the suspect at the gas station and placed him under arrest once the GPS tracker had been located. The suspect was charged with Unlawful Surveillance (Felony) and Stalking (misdemeanor). He spent a week in jail before being released on a $11,000 surety bond.

So if you have Felony on your record, bye bye Green Card and of course US citizenship - as far as I know.

I don't know how stupid some people can get.

Pandit do Pandit things.
