Actually, Iran has quite diverse views and a robust civil society historically. Assad is a weak leader but there was no choice as Iran's primary interest in to preserve land routes across the Axis of Resistance and supply line to Hezbollah. The alCIAda type terrorists would have turned Syria into a Zionist colony. Hopefully, some of you are mature enough to see the big picture, ever wonder why ISIS, alCIAda and other western and Zionist controlled terrorist groups never attack US or Zionist targets? the Kurds also are totally in Zionist pockets.
There was always choice but you get scared and made haste choice in light what you said.
Al qaida card is lame, you worked very well with them in past when interested aligned in Afganistan.
I say it is not never late for honest deal and if you get along with talibans there is no visible obstacle to cut the deal with syrian rebels, assad regime would be colleterall damage but greater good would be achieved for unity among muslims.
But i doubt it as there is huge animosity and mistrust at the moment and i do not see any baby steps in that for me reasonable direction.

I don't know why those rescuers couldn't be shot.

A few days ago when people were lionizing Elon Musk, I had said something like "he can't find the Deep State. Nobody can. Some 'regulations' can shut him down". Musk has to answer to his shareholders and also to ensure his platform is not shut down. There is no real democracy in America. A memorable quote I recently read goes something like: 'You know who your true masters are when you can't criticize someone'. No guesses needed--it is a certain Lobby in America.
There comes a point when the state feels the need to control narrative building because it is supposed to work in the best interests of the country and this entail respecting foreign partners. US have allowed conspiracy theories to flourish and terrorists have taken advantage of this blunder to find more recruits and create sleeper cells in US and other countries - does US benefit from this blunder in any capacity? Western platforms are relatively open and it is easy for other countries to plant their agents to influence public opinion and political discourses. This is not possible in Chinese, Iranian, Russian, or even North Korean platforms.

Latest in Russia:

Nobody is safe in a country like Russia. Those who are cheering for Russia have no idea how it feels to live in fear and censorship. Even a tourist is not safe in Russia who might have been a critic of Russian policy at some point.

Even in Gaza, people cannot question Hamas.

People have the right to voice their concerns but there needs to be an understanding of how your country is strong and what can be done to keep it strong. The state will panic and resort to unpleasant measures otherwise.

Freedom of Expression have its merits but there is absolute lack of coherence in American discourses. This becomes a problem at some point. The state is supposed to address this lack of coherence.

It is rich from pakistani citizen to preach democracy and "freedom of speech" as your country is in nature military hunta and you ousted your PM on bogus claims under the pressure from foreign entity.
I see it as irony.

Thank you for kind words but i do not consider myself to much intelligent beside simple logic connecting it to greater goals.

My country have problems that a number of external observers might not be familiar with. Pakistani society is lacking in education, discipline, and values. Politicians are typically full of themselves. This too. It will take time to sort out this mess but I am not sure when this will be possible. The state should allow researchers to point out issues and work to address them. This will be a good start. There is also the need to build values so people do not enticed by perks and corruption.

Foreign pressure comes when the state does not live up to its claims and promises in dealings with foreign entities. There is a need to take public into confidence in these matters as well. The public should know what is happening.

Every single argument why Russia is beyond the pale is given in reverse for why Israel are great. People have literally forgotten the meaning of a moral code and think it's flexible depending on what you want to claim

If there is something we can say for sure from this conflict is that a country Israel doesn't need to excuse themselves from war crimes as long as said country is an ally of the west.

Even that seems intelligent now, such is the deficit everywhere with midwits rampant.
