What's new

It was a mistake-BNP leaders say party shifting from anti-India stance

No the sales are doing exceptionally well. I have sold 300 books from just one bookshop in Dhaka and a total of 5000 around the country in 4 years. I have even sold books in India where it is in great demand with people prepared to pay double the price for a copy.

Chanakya policies are working. I love how much they fear that man :D I think BNP realized that they would need RAW backing to win the election, smart move :enjoy:

Friendship with enemy's enemy lasts as long as the enmity lasts. If India feels safer from BNP-ruled BD, then BAL's potential to exploit the BAL-India relationship in BAL's favor lessens- apparently that's what the BNP wants. Don't think BNP needs RAW backing.

Good Heavens! Sounds like a business opportunity!

As a duplicitous Hindu (ex-Hindu, anyway), I have the official sanction to turn around and blandly denounce whatever I have stated in the past.

May I be your exclusive agent in India only? Ignore any noises Labong might be making; he cannot do for you the miracles that I can.

What M_Saint said earlier could be the unofficial reaction of Jammat E Islami....

No one in Bangladesh is directly against India but they are against India because it has not fulfilled any of it`s earlier promise from resolving land boundary dispute, water sharing, stopping border killing, creating artificial trade barrier to halt Bangladeshi export, airing all the Indian channel in Bangladesh but not letting airing Bangldeshi channel in India etc.

Apart from that there are some proven or unproven acquisition like interfering in domestic politics, earlier supplying arms to shanti bahini, possible involvement in the pilkhana massacre, promoting drug smuggling etc.

Every one want good relation with India based on mutual respect but not submissive attitude be it to China or India. What BAL leaders usually do and what BNP is doing is nothing but a submissive attitude. As BNP is now becoming close to India, BAL is trying to be close to China as said by Hanif.

What Munshi earlier said BNP`s close relation to India is mainly to legitimize the return of Tareque Zia into politics of Bangladesh which USA strongly oppose.

Last thing both this BNP and BAL and other parties s"cks. At the end of the day they will do politics for their own gain and making money and the ordinary citizen will pay the price which they are still paying.

That part was never clear to me. Why the US would want to oppose Tareque Zia?

Enjoy your delusion Munsi....Of course It is our destiny that due to some politician like Neheru and Gandhi...your books are getting sold in India with double rate...In case it would have been Sardar Patel at the help of politics with independent India...things would have been different...

Fuuuh! I still honestly think this is part of election strategy! Promise everything to everyone.... Be good to all before going to power!!! Like Roman Emperor Caligula!!!! Khaleda is trolling indians, not pdf Jamatis! Anyway, i don't oppose good india bd relationship. When Khaleda makes deal with india, i know she is sincere to her nation. But this is not the case with Awamileague! I trust a rattle snake more than them!!

You can deceive a weaker counterpart, not a stronger one.

We just need to keep BNP interested, at the end of the day its the Awami League which will have India's support. India needs one more term of AL rule in Dhaka to weed out all the anti India elements in the Bangladeshi establishment(both military and bureaucratic).

ja bolechen DADA...........

thats actually true, i went to buy your book infront of shaheen college. I couldnt find the english version and the store owner even said that people brought this book and took it to India. I couldn't read it for myself as only the bangla version was available so i brought it for someone. The store owner described your book as 'hot cake'
