First grade Pakistani boy beaten on US school bus for 'being Muslim'

Blowing this out of Proportions is the only way the schools will take proper action against the culprits.

They're in first graders what action do you want the school to take? Kick them out? Arrest them? The school should explain to them what they did was wrong and be done with this nonsense.

you make it sound like black criminals are shot at and white criminals are arrested
simple rule - you shoot at the cops. they are more likely to shoot back at you

Do us a favor , and check out the recent Killing of Black man by Cops .. i have tons of Black , and white American Friends , they are themselves scared from the Cops .. i can post the Links , Videos here and none of them was actively involved in shooting back at Police ..

theres always been bullying in western countries nothing new
whoever thinks this doesnt happen or wont again is stupid .
father needs to grow a pair of balls and take his boy to boxing, karate lessons and watch his sons confidence grow and
learn to defend himself .
its called fatherhood for a reason , not scream and cry like a biitch
what kind of example is the father showing his 7 year old kid ,the boys gonna get bullied for the rest of his life.

Some news for you:

Media sources seek publicity; they describe an event from their perspective and/or have an agenda to pursue.

Behind each incident like that, is a history. Do not expect mainstream media sources to provide you details.

Not endorsing cop violence in any way or form by the way.

My point is that cop violence (if you like to call it that) is not restricted to an ethnicity. An individual, irrespective of his race, color and background, can be victim of it.

Social movements such as Black Lives Matter are politically motivated, to seek some concessions from the authorities.

in england if this happened they would be a riot, stuff like this happened back in the 80s-90s the under-class Goras in england would hang out in gangs and do something called ''**** Bashing'' they would go round to neighbourhoods inhabited by south asians and smash there windows with bricks, they would bully and beat on young kids. Then the pakistani living in those areas had enough and fought back and beat the living shit out of the mother fuckers, never again have i heard of such things happening.

I'm surprised the 1st graders even know stuff like Muslims, Pakistanis and such let alone bully another child on that account. I have three kids ages, 9, 5 and 2 and let me tell you they only know disney and tween shows, silly cartoon videos on YouTube etc.

bullying in schools can happen to any kid based on any number of things. being too skinny or being too big, too shy, less shiny clothes and so on.

Recently a story came out of New York area, Staten island to be exact where a 12 year old kid (white) committed suicide because he was too large and other kids and even the coach picked on him and bullied him. As a parent, I cant tell you how much it broke my heart and saddened me.

schools across America have taken number of initiatives in collaboration with the police and social services to tackle the bullying problem. I'm sure this 1st grader's bullying incident will be investigated throughly and steps taken to reduce such further incidents. Note that I said "reduce" because bullying cannot be fully eliminated.

American environment is different from that of UK.

Americans are aggressive and armed to the teeth, and strong-arm tactics benefit no one there. The government will intervene eventually. Look at the example of Los Angeles riots of 1992.

A stand-off between LAPD and blacks escalated to a level that it gave rise to arguably the worst riots in American history. Activity in much of the city froze. Black gangs took advantage of the situation and raided many stores. Some store owners decided to fight back and gun battles ensued, with no end in sight to violence. Eventually, the National Guard was called and curfew imposed to control the situation.

I agree. I can't exactly picture a kid just one month into first grade having any concept of other people's religion or what a terrorist is or whatever. I have little kids like you and they are preoccupied with little kid stuff. They'd rather watch Minecraft videos on YouTube or play with their toys than think about other stuff.

Edit: I just asked my older daughter if there are any Muslim terrorists in her school and she was completely clueless as to what I was talking about.

Isolated incidents happen. Doesn't mean America is actually like that.

As pointed by other members, America is a greatest country that values every citizen equally regardless of their race, ethnicity or religion. America has a perfect system in place which even 100 trumps together cannot change.

Anyone who experience anything that is against American laws should contact authorities and they respond to these incidents on priority bases.

i have dealt with American cops. they are professional. i am dark skinned.
there are two rules dealing with american cops
1. listen to what they say. if they tell you not to do something do not do it
2. tell them what you are going to do before doing it

having dealt with cops in India i appreciate canadian and american policemen

I doubt rule 1 can be followed with desi cops always

Sure for Pakistani Cops, if they told you not to do something than don't .. i respect cops , no matter which country they are from , they are there to protect us so we must Cooperate with them , but what my point is that Cops must be trained to deal with situation where Suspect can pop out a gun or something else while they are detaining them, but shooting them by just fearing that they might have a GUN is a little alarming , and its not just me, American President also believe they got some issues..

if a desi cop tells a female detainee to remove her clothes I am not sure rule one applies
