What's new

Blast in Turkey , 31 Dead , 100+ Wounded.

I hope this isn't the start of an escalation. Be it ISIS/Nusra or the PKK. This is a very big problem, known as spill over. I hope the brave soldiers of the TSK will do their best to contain this, and MIT of course. I advise you not to go to reddit, since they're all blaming Turkey either directly or indirecly. Let's hope this is a one off.

The group that got hit was a terrorist Kurdish group (PKK) that decided to go to Ayn Al Arab (Kobane). They are saying a "cultural center" was hit but in fact it is just a requiting center for PKK. The attackers can be ISIS but it could be also non-ISIS. The attacker can be one of those Syrian refugees who had to flee from ethnic cleansing from PKK. The PKK/HDP terrorists are blaming Turkey but they have been making a lot of enemies lately with their ethnic cleansing of Arab, Turkmen and Assyrians.

So called socialist youth BS. This is the PKK version of the Hitler Youth, nothing more nothing less. I can't STAND the fact that the illiterate supporters of those terrorists get to go on the internet and talk bad about Turkey and support the terrorists. And the Western countries treating them like heroes. Disgusting.

nope..be it Turk, Kurd, Alawite, Circassian, Laz, Georgian, Bosnian, Albanian, what matters is that they were the citizens of the Republic of Turkey in which by the Constitution, they were Türk. Enough reason to make them pay.

I hope so, but when I saw some of the posts by few Turkish members then felt they don't deem Kurds as one of their own.

His ideology and policy are failed and our country is getting massive damages from that.
He is more bent towards religion. Turkey is no more secular after erdogan takeover. His policy will isolate turkey from western & other parts of the world.
If turkey continue to support erdogan , then you vote for bad future and darkness, violence and unrest in country waiting for you.

Not really indicative of a country is it, a silly hormone infested forum like this?

Well, i knew it was coming, i just wanted to keep my eyes closed because Turkey is such an advanced country and the people are friendly towards us, but i must say all those trucks passing through providing weapons to ISIS scum and turkey's dealings with the KSA... i bet some of you guys knew shit was gonna hit the fan...

Now coming to point as a Pakistani i condemn this act and wish that no more blood spill in Turkey and may the people make proper decisions from now on!

An explosion has killed at least 27 people and wounded nearly 100 in the Turkish town of Suruc near the Syrian border, the interior ministry says.

The blast occurred in the garden of a cultural centre at about 09:00 GMT. Hundreds of youth workers were reportedly staying there.

Officials are investigating the possibility it was a suicide bombing.

Suruc, located near the Syrian town of Kobane, houses many refugees who fled fighting there in recent months.

Kobane has been a battleground between militants from the Islamic State (IS) group and Kurdish fighters since September last year, when IS overran the town, forcing most of its residents to flee into Turkey.

The Federation of Socialist Youth Associations (SGDF) is reported to have had at least 300 members staying at the Amara Culture Centre to take part in rebuilding work in Kobane.

Graphic images of the scene immediately after the blast were tweeted by thefederation.

Even if what you wrote is 100% true, that is Turkish territory, under Turkish law and those lying dead are Turkish citizens first of all.
