Foxbat over Pakistan the facts & fiction

@Oscar why are you allowing this guy to post craps without any credible evidence. he dont have any valid links to support his claims. Just I talk to this guy and that guy. He just make up things from thin air. Or I suggest you to open a new thread with the title "Fiction" so that every one can post their tall claims.

Not sure about medal but he was certainly awarded, what's more, it's even listed by them as an IAF kill.
If proven he was given a medal for the lock then it simply proves the Indians were hungry for an F-16 kill. This whole talk of across the border lock is laughable.

Atleast I have single brain cell unlike some who think with their A$$..

The bolded part is the problem. He dont have any proof. If ask, he will say he telephoned Indian Air Chief and confirmed it to him personally.

@Oscar , no matter how irrelevant, since Indians like to glorify every little detail like their MiG-29 locking on a PAF F-16....well albeit this picture is from the 2002 stand off period, however most of these pilots were also involved in CAPs and air defence duties during the Kargil conflict. I often speak to one of the guys in the picture who was very much involved tn that action, it was couple of pilots from his unit who tailed a flight of five Fulcrums for well over 20 minutes with the MiG pilots totally oblivious of Falcons presence. It was only after their GCI warned them that they ''jinxed'' so violently that they almost crashed into each other but you will never hear PAF making any tall claims let alone awarding the pilot for gaining a lock.
One wonders while we brought down few of their aircraft, why would they miss the opportunity to get even, they certainly didn't hesitate against a slow moving unarmed PN aircraft.

I am not the one who create thread after thread with fictions to cool down the A$$ !! :disagree:

Well, it gives me a great pleasure to beat your sorry a$$ with your own stick..... rather than being a typical sore loser, make your self worthy of a simple google search on Flight Lieutenant Gaurav Chibber, the IAF MiG-29 pilot who was actually awarded Vayu Sena medal for this so called achievement but died when his own MiG-29 crashed.

Vayu Sena Medal (Gallantry)
Flt Lt
Gaurav Chibber 22926 F(P) Award Date Announced 15 Aug 99 No Image Available
Details :
229 Sqn MiG-29 For CAP and escort missions

Unit : 223 Squadron
On August 6, 1999, when Flt. Lt. Gaurav Chibber's MiG-29 was on a routine sortie over Himachal Pradesh, it suddenly developed problems and crashed into the pine forests. He died just days before he was to be awarded the prestigious Vayu Sena medal and was to get married.

An IAF court of inquiry later attributed the cause of the crash to disorientation experienced by the pilot while flying through cloud cover.

Dude, this is a 14 year old image, most of them are probably Babbas now.

With the current inventories in mind, how many days can PAF survive in a full blown war, respected sir?

@Bilal Khan 777

7 days, after which the nukes go live.

Nonsense, you don't intrude enemy territory with a large slow unarmed plane with a dozen trainees on board, the fact is after losing three aircraft during Kargil conflict, the IAF was desperate to salvage something, hence it proved it's worth by shooting a vulnerable aircraft and looking good amongst Indians.

Yea, when the stakes were level the IAF was first to shy away, by shooting an unarmed aircraft, it wanted to prove it's credibility to the Indians and also make Vajpayee stand tall....hence that Kodak moment.

What nobody has ever said out in public, that the ATL-1 was hijack. When the pilots overcame the mutiny, and the aircraft escorting realised, they shot it down. Indians then infiltrated in Jaati to pick up the wreckage, just to show the world. All crew dead, medals given, chapter closed.
