How Pakistan helped India during 1962 war with China

Jinnah had said at Law College in Lahore when I had asked him what Pakistan's reaction would be if a third power were to attack India. He had said that his soldiers would fight alongside Indian soldiers.

Sentiments before 1965 war was different , earlier Kashmir war was somewhat indirect since Pakistan attacked Kashmir and then India entered , 1971 war and birth of Bangladesh war due to pure hatred ,which settled in 1965 and remained so for all this years

The rivalry was there since partition , but each acknowledged the other. There used to be pak officers training in Indian institutions and vice versa--also, a great deal of trade.

by the way the GOP did send a message to Nehru that he could use his divisions posted on the western front . Pakistan would not act . (those were the day of men of honor )

you are not making sense mate. do read up on some history . by the way SAM only took over as the theater commander after the war was over.
gen thapar was also the only army chief who put in his papers because he saw the way menon was destroying the army . it took Nehru , who intervened and asked him to withdraw his resignation.

Man its usually because Armed forces want to increase their fundings and they usually refer to defending ourselves from such an attack. In my post I was reffering to our stupid media and some opposition ministers who like to make these kind of comments in order to increase their vote banks by such statements.

The reality is Pakistan and india were both unable to handle their matters , if india would have accepted Pakistan and willing to forget whatever happened it would have been lot different . Also the fact was Kashmir dispute . Had india not occupied kashmir and even if they did so if they would have gone for referendum or solved the matters under the light of junagarh then both countries would not have so much of hate towards eachother but the kashmir issue was the core issue which was exploited by russia and Us to gain their benefits. We had bipolar status quo. Tilting of one par towards a hostile country would definitely meant the tilting of the other par to the opposite country and thats where things got spoiled . And above all the 1971 war and the india's role in that was the ugliest thing one would have wanted at that stage.

Even if there were problems in East Pakistan had india not interfered there and let-ed Pakistan solve that on her own would have cultivated great fruits for both.

The prosperity of this region was directly related to the economic growth but most part of our life we spent it on non-productive issues , we were fighting and the countries like malaysia , singapore etc took advantage and look at their economies, I know india has been growing in last decade or so but imagine if she would have done so in 50 years before that at similar pace where would she have been same is for Pakistan. Five years plan developed by Pakistan was never implemented rather malaysia adopted it from us and look where they are now.

Germany and France had great animosity but they co-operated and co-operated for the well being of their people now look at them ,

Had Pakistan, China and india strong relationship, this region would have been so much stronger and prosper and no country would have dare to attack Afghanistan or for that matter anyother country in the region under the fake and lame tag of terrorism . Currently its the Pakistan which is suffering from Afghanistan war but mark my words this war is going to make this region very unstable and fragile . And the indian attempt to take control in Afghanistan after NATO leaves will backfire on india .

Now the damage is done to this extent that individuals from both sides dont even miss a chance to target eachother with abuses and sarcastic comments on any medium may it be public forums or even youtube ...Look at any video belonging to Pakistan and india and just have a glance at the comments section and you will know what i am talking about
