India may transfer some Migs to Srilanka: Source

They don't know how to crash F-7s and Mirages(Kfir is based on Mirage) either; hopefully Pakistan will teach them from her vast experience in crashing them on how to do this.

With over 1200+ crashes in 3 decades... Iaf is the best in that field.. Nobody can even come close...

Ready for take off... Oh shyt... Kaboom !

No, Mark 1 is not a tech demo. This government extended an order of 100 under a Mark 1A even.

Currently, 20 pre FOC Tejas are being readied for the IAF. FOC Tejas with fuel probe, Israeli AESA, better engine, etc. well take over after. FOC will be achieved 2016, but the 20 pre FOC Tejas will go on.
bro,,,according to my source FOC wont be achieved this year

They said 3rd quarter. The delay of the refueling probes, cone, and the grounding of Tejas for couple of months screwed things up. Either way, 20 pre-FOC models will be made while it get's the final certification.

You guys should pull another operation chengiz khan while IAF is so weak.

Lolzz.Actually data from aviation-safetynet says otherwise:
From Jan 1, 2012 to Dec 31, 2015 IAF lost 22 jets to crashes whereas PAF lost 17 jets to crashes.
Given that IAF is 75% larger than PAF(IAF has 700+ aircraft including 240 MiG-21s whereas PAF has 400 aircraft) the crash rate per jet is significantly higher in Pakistan.
You can Visit the website yourself to verify the data.

Already fueling probes are ordered, which only post 20 models will have. There would be no point in validating it with Tejas if more models are being ordered. FOC+ models are what IAF want any. No, confirmation for mark 2 either, but around 100 GE F414 engines are already ordered. Not all of which will go to naval variants. It wont end at 20 IOC models, that's for certain.

The 1200+ is a fact.. Iaf celebrated its 1000ty crash years back.

After transferring Mi-25 Attack Gunships to Afghanistan on request of Afghan President recently, India is deliberating if a Srilankan request to provide fighter jets for their air force can be taken up after India forced Srilanka to reconsider their decision on making the purchase of Sino-Pakistan developed JF-17 fighter jets.

Well, informed Sources in air force close to idrw.org have informed us that instead of offering Homegrown LCA-Tejas to Srilanka, IAF may transfer some of Upgraded Mig-27 along with Spares to Srilankan Air force at FOC ( Free of Cost).

Srilankan Air force already operates Mig-27 purchased from Ukraine and Russia in past and HAL/IAF have helped train Pilots/Aircrew while Srilankan Military was on offensive against LTTE, Mig-27s along with Kfir fighter jets played crucial roles in Bombing LTTE targets in the last phase of the Civil war.

Indian Air forces already have plans to retire older un-upgraded Mig-27s from its fleet this year on wards and also have plans to phase out upgraded Mig-27s by 2019 along with Mig-21s.
evil plan hehehe, offering such aircraft which lacks in dogfight (air to air combat). :D
