The problem is not male ego, this is the problem

if women want to be treated equal then by all means.
But don't complain when the work is too hard, or people don't care how you feel, and especially don't complain if someone uses violence against you, every man on earth has had violence used against him and society just tells us to "man up"

so equal rights? sure, but man up and take all the responsibility that comes with it too.

These same men are given birth and brought by Women. You can't just blame men.

Many brides are tormented by their mother-in-law.

growing up in a Pakistani house and living with extended family, I can say that 90% of all the problems women face are caused by other women. Be they mother in laws, sister in laws, etc etc.

I have seen family fights start when one woman made a comment about another woman's style of clothes.
Silly right?

I am saying this from personal experiences but I am sure people can relate.

Male ego does not equal to sexism.

We are hard wired for it. In the heat of things we won't back off - ever. We would get jealous, we would want to be declared right.

We can be silly yes. Truth be told, no woman would like us any other way either.

But these are some idiosyncrasies of the way our human body is. You would do well to know that we have a bigger list of the "way women are" - or as we think they are... The issue here is criminal. The criminality of rape cannot be equated to an unsolvable thing such as male ego. If you do that then, that's like not solving the issue.

Let men decide whom they want ti get compared to but of course it wont be a God or some king ruling over the household females.

Shame on women!

Even educated women still practice various customs, cultures and traditions that are anti-women.
Mangalsutra
A woman wears Mangalsutra, a black beads necklace, for her husband’s health and well-being. Would a man wear a Mangalsutra for his wife’s health and well-being? Hell no!

Sindoor
Married women wear vermilion or Sindoor on the forehead and along the hair parting line. The Sindoor symbolizes the deep respect, devotion and dedication of a Hindu woman to her husband. Would a married man wear Sindoor on his forehead for the same purpose? Hell no!

Sankha Pola Loha
Married women wear bangles: Sankha, Pola and Loha for husband’s health. Did a man ever wear Sankha, Pola, or Loha for his wife’s health? Hell no!

Bhai Phota
‘Bhai Phota’ is performed by women. They fast and put an auspicious mark with sandal wood paste on their brothers’ foreheads, feed them sweets, give them gifts and pray for their health, happiness and prosperity. Is there a system that a man also fast and put an auspicious mark on his sister’s forehead and pray for her health, happiness and prosperity? Hell no!

Karwa Chauth
People still believe that abstaining from meals, or fasting, can prolong the life of a loved one. Women fast for 24 hours to ensure that their husbands live long lives. Do men do the same for their wives? Hell no!

Touching husband’s feet
A woman bows her head, touches her husband’s feet, takes the dust from the feet and put them on her head on her wedding day to show her submission to her husband. Would a man ever do this? Hell no!

Jamai Sasthi or Son-in-law Day
Jamai Sasthi ritual is celebrated for health and well-being of son-in-law. The son-in-law is invited to a grand celebration in the house of his in-laws. He is served delicious food. Is it possible to have a similar celebration for health and well-being of daughter-in-law? Hell no!

There are hundreds of anti-women rituals that Hindu women perform without questioning. It is alarming that women still perform these rituals in the 21st century. Throughout history sane people have made many misogynistic cultures go extinct. But in some countries, patriarchal traditions are celebrated more ceremoniously than ever. You may say only illiterate women do it, women’s education will solve all the problems. But the truth is, educated women perform anti-women patriarchal rituals more perfectly than illiterate women, because educated women have better learning capacity. They learn every small details of patriarchy that illiterate women can not learn.
Who will fight misogynistic tradition if modern women remain busy practicing it? A few reformist men in the 19th century fought for abolishing Suttee (widow burning), for women’s education, and for widows’ remarriage. In the 21st century, a new set of enlightened revolutionary men is probably needed to save women from the darkness.

All the above points move around male ego or call it anything.

Many rapes took place just because women refused to like men or bow to their wishes resultantly hurting male ego.

*sigh*
looks like this one is going down the toilet as well.

Many sons kick their parents out of the home because their wives don't want to live with them. GO to any old age home, you will see the reality.

Many women fights with their husband everyday they come from home and complain about his parents.

Watch Indian movie Bagbaan. It focuses the same.

Many women gets into relationship with a married men and don't care even his marriage. She pushes him to leave his wife for him. There are many cases of divorces based on this.

Many women gossip about their neighbors, their mother in law, their daughter in law and children especially boys grow up seeing that women themselves don't respect other women.

The blame is on both men and women.

Okay dear what ever you say.
Its the male ego which is the problem and main source of all domestic violence, rapes, eve teasing, molesting and groping.

Its the male ego which seeks to force and guide customs on women
its the male ego which makes them to seek domination over women.

Really ? Let me tell you from psychology point of view. After her son's marriage, many mother often feels threatened that their son are taken away by their wives. And they take this anger on their daughter in law when their son are out of home for work everyday.

Many women pushes their sons to beat their wives for many reasons. Many women ask for dowry because she wants to show off how much their daughter in law brought from her home.

Behind every successful man there is a woman, and behind many criminal men, there is a woman too.

I not only blame men but also women. Because I don't put rationality aside. I like to see the problem from all aspects.
