Indian tortoise slips into reverse and can't catch Chinese hare

LOL, the Indians "predicted" that China would collapse during the 2008 Credit Crunch.

Now it is four years later:

- India is being downgraded by S&P for poor economic fundamentals
- India has 6.1% growth and falling, as well as the worst budget/trade deficit in BRIC
- Jim O'Neill, the economist who created the idea of BRIC, says that India is the "most disappointing" of all
- Fareed Zakira, the most famous Indian-American (editor of Newsweek) says that "India should be replaced with Indonesia in BRIC"

another thread with Indians hurling insults rather then discussing the topic. :coffee:

exactly what i was thinking.

they all know the indian economy is a running ponzi scheme based on debt, they cannot counter any of the realities of their economy so they throw insults to divert the topic hoping people would ignore the indian economy and talk off topic things.

the bottom line is the indian economy can only grow if it can go into debt every year, now that it has reached a level of debt that is too high, they cannot go into more debt, thus their gdp growth is falling and it will fall even further.
its a debt based ponzi scheme.

indian fundamentals are dreadful, people like jim rogers and stephen roach have been warning about this.

You mean this ?

India is ahead of most emerging markets: Stephen Roach, Non-Executive Chairman, Asia, Morgan Stanley - Economic Times

Indians this won't be a "tortiose and the hare" scenario, you will continue to slow down Inshallah.

Agreed.. India is and always been like an Elephant ... walking in it's own stride.

Hares and tortoise games are for kids.

But you don't worry, we're big enough take our entire region along.

India, Pakistan and Bangladesh rise together.. we've shared history and destiny.

In a real world, a tortoise is a natural loser to a hare in a race. It’s a no-brainer. Alas, how there are bunches of people more foolish than brainless!

A tortoise can only accidently catch a hare in a fairytale.

The Chinese leave the Indians in a nice sweet fairytale story, whereas Indians bet their win over an accident that never happens in real world.

The Chinese don’t even think they are the natural winner, so they work hard and relentlessly…

Hails to the Chinese!
