What's new

India's aircraft carrier design may have major defects.

No matter how you people try this is a,majestic peice if engineering.
only 7 or 8 countries in the world can even afford or think of building a 400000 tonne carrier
it looks magnificent

Just pour money in, nothing special....

just loving the remarks from.my posters,to answer the critics

the best one was
we Indians have been operating carriers for 50.years .
you chinease for 10.years,
so don't try and tell us how design build and operate something we know far better than you chinease.
As for Pakistanis.... how can comment on a,carrier you never have had them.and most likely never will..

leave it to the experts in.this region
it looks really good

LoL... IJN or Japanese are the most experience carrier by your theory?

Stop giving clown comment. IN most of the time , just operate floating platorm old Vikrant which has no arrrestor hook and no catapult. What kind of experience IN carrier ops?

It just goes to show how unprofessional the Indian military is. That’s why they are so easy to beat for the PLA. Notice how all Indian soldiers ran away and abandoned their fellow soldiers. I highly doubt they even know how to operate the weapons they buy. Just by the statements their top generals make you can tell the Indian military is run by absolute idiots. If their elites are that stupid, just imagine how brainless the rest of them are.

that makes them dangerous because a stupid nation like india will upset the asia region by opening it's
a ss to be pounded by western imperialism.

Dude don't waste your breath here. Pretty sure even with all the alleged shortcomings of IAC-1 Pakistanis will literally lose their mind if they were offered (offered becuase they ofcourse can't build one themselves) such a platform by the Chinese and would even claim it to be world's/south asia/Asia's best carrier. Unfortunately (for Pakistan), they are not getting any such platforms in the next 50 years. Let them have their trolling we will keep our carrier. Let's hope IN focuses on PLAAN going forward as they will be a major threat in the next 5 years. Pakistan as.a naval force is irrelevant and immaterial.

From this thread, Chinese who’ve operated aircraft carriers for less than 10 years surely know more than the Indian Navy who has operated Aircraft Carriers for 50 years.

So in 50 years you guys did not learn how to design a carrier? such a shame even Vikrant is Russian design. Surely you guys dont know anything about AC otherwise you wouldn't put a ski jump on a poor Old Cruiser. This is exactly what happens when you to try to upgrade motorcycle into a Landcruiser then into a bus, while the best capacity it has is to be upgraded to Qing-qi.

What kind of issue is even there, a random chinese posted something and some are calling it patthar ki laqeer. And Vikrant is a design which has many inspirations from Russian ones.

Ski jump was used because MiG-29Ks need a ski jump.
In future we’re working on a CATOBAR.

With modern Electromagnetic launch systems :p: :p: , I would be happy if you guys could even achieve Steam assisted catapult launch, which by any chance if you guys successfully research will be outdate by that era. Put a nuclear propulsion so it can go forever. Design capacity approx. 80000 tons able to launch 4 aircraft every 2 minutes . Anything else you would like to know will have to paid learning.....:p::p: You guys are launching a 50s era carrier in 2021 so much for 50 years operation and knowledge.

And yes dont forget to put your own planes , electronics , radars , propulsion not some foreign imported Migs.....:p::p::p::p: Design and knowledge :argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh:

Is that carrier not equipped with jet blast deflectors? I don’t see any.

No deflectors. Indians will only operate 8-12 planes on this carrier just like they do on their current carrier. So plenty of space to move away from jet blast.

INS Vishal will be a 65k ton class Flat Top AC with EMALs, and TEDBF aircraft.
Operating aircraft carriers for 50 years, it will take them another 50 years to learn how to properly design and build an aircraft carrier.
Something which China knows, alrighty.

There are actually far more Chinese pilots who made a cable-arrested landing than Indian ones. China has two much bigger 65K tons carriers that are at sea far more often than the one operational 44K ton Indian carrier rebuilt entirely in Russia.

A lot of India's so-called experience came from operating Harriers which Thailand also had until that route became a evolutionary deadend.

Ahh I see that you know some internet buzzwords. Guess what the Brits also launched their brand new AC without EMALS or nuclear propulsion even though they were originally planned. IAC-1 was not even planned to have them. U know why? It takes shit loads of money to put them on a carrier. This was the first indigenous AC built by India and it makes no sense to pour all ur precious $$$ on a multi billion dollar ship (don't put all ur eggs in one basket - hope ur Teachers taught u in kindergarten).
If this the quality of your research in "paid learning" I think I'll give it a pass.

P.S. Stop spamming stupid smilies in a serious discussion(if you are not deliberately trolling that is). Will prevent you from embarrassing urself publicly.
