Pakistani Made Grad rockets not Good

Pakistani ammunition has already created its name in the world. Ukraine it self has been using it for a while before the war. Even western countries use our ammunition. The people concerned with such purchases know the quality of Pakistani ammunition. They also know Ukraine is a dumping ground of old and almost expired stockpiles of ammunition. Those concerned with such purchases won’t make purchases based off a CBC report.
We are not western countries who have imposed dozens of conflicts on third world countries and now promote their weapons as “battle proven”. If we had decided to send our ammunition there, it would be stupid to earn the reputation of bad quality.

Every chance of proving high reliability and quality for our product is worth more than making a bit of extra bucks on expired ammo.

Urkains are use to the high quality Russia made in ammunitions.

this is the taliban low level bad quality

missiles are exploding in silo only !!

bullet is exploding in barrel only !!!

revolver is backfiring and killing the shooter only !! :omghaha:

sounds like made in india?

Well at least Ukraine has learnt a valuable lesson and will NOT buy anything from Pakistan again. This is 2-numberi of Army Generals who want to keep US happy by supplying weapons to Ukraine and then ALSO KEEP Russia happy by telling them that they supplied SHI.T rockets to Ukraine --- GENIUS !

They should send them Anza rockets to shoot Migs. They succeeded in kashmir.
But why am I not surprised things from a third world country are not always useful?

What kind of faujeet sh!t is that?

Long lines of atta shows its not playing its cards correctly
Nothing “faujeet” about what I’m saying. If elections happen and IK is re-elected, Pakistan will have to close ranks and formulate a unified strategy to balance east and west; regional and international powers, primarily focus on our economy and funding human development.

While we are make strides to focus on our regional connectivity and the economic benefits it brings, we will need to use the goodwill from these arms supplies to push back on accusations we are allying to closely with regional powers in the security domain.

This is meant to pave the ways for balancing the long term prospects of the country. In the short term, having a government most Pakistanis accept and can support is how best to get the economy going again to deal with those atta lines. That is why only elections ASAP is the only solution.

Ukrainians should be grateful that Pakistan is even willing to sell them supply given that even their western partners are unable to produce nor supply any meaningful existing stock of ammunition.

I would not be surprised if Pakistan sold older in stock ammunition. Supplying order taken today even for 122mm rockets could take months to years depending on the order and due to its urgency and relative recent requirements its more than likely Pakistan sold older stock and is now filling back orders for new stock (depending on its own requirement as well). We know ukraine needs around 20-30,000 rockets of these calibre per day alone so how could Paksitan even fullfill an order for a few hundred thousand within 2-3 months? even america cannot do that so of course 99% older stock is used. But that not all..

Secondly there could be many reasons why the quality of the Pakistani 122mm is less, but again its odd to complain about quality of 122mm rockets that are unguided and have 50+ year old designs. These rockets are literally same thing as much larger firework rockets in sophistication and guidance.

In a long term conventional war what matters with these unguided rockets/artillery is the numbers being produced. Czecks and Poles might have better quality but might only be able to produce 20% of what POF can produce. in a long drawn out war Id rather go with our home grown solution even given quality of matierials used is lower.

Lastly his grievances are unspecific. In what respect those rockets from Pak of less quality? are they blowing up in their face? we would definately be hearing about that. Are they failing to blow up upon impact? again highly unlikely as the Russians would bring that up with our foreign ministry... We know that many of the Ukrainians soldiers follow right wing nazi ideologies so again it is most likely a racial bias thing for him to associate "Pakistani" weaponery with lower quality vs Western weaponry.

Again we have seen Ukraine complaint many many times about the quality of certain weapons in order to ask for much more advanced modern equivilents. In the last few months they have literally been begging for more new HIMARS. So in this case also a tactic to uncle sam "Uncle please give us more HIMARS + HIMARS ROCKETS"

you mean they are even worst than those crashed 300 plus IAF's Mig 21s since 1960s ? Are these even worst than those INSAS rifles which had magazine cracks issue in cold weather or which frequently fired 3 shot burst in a single fire mode ? :coffee:

Lol pakistan has a long history of supplying artillery ammunition to nations on a bilateral basis, For example Pakistan provided artillery munitions to Brazil cheaper and quicker than the Us FMS program. As for quality control it’s basic commodity NOT high tech perfect for most armies lol
