PHAGWARA: In a provocative act, Shiv Sena (Hindustan) activists stopped the Delhi-Lahore bus here on Friday afternoon and forced it to drive over the Pakistan flag despite police presence. They were protesting the killing of 10 civilians and Army personnel in Jammu on Thursday by three terrorists who had crossed over from Pakistan.

Till evening no case was registered by the police against the activists for violating the National Highways Act, which makes such deliberate blocking an offence. In 2000 too Shiv Sena activists had attacked the bus after which it had got heavy police security. Phagwara SP Gursewak Singh said, "We have not registered any case and are still discussing the matter with seniors."

On Friday, some two dozen Shiv Sainiks gathered at Hanuman Garhi temple on the national highway. As soon as the bus appeared around noon, the slogan-shouting activists blocked it at Sugar Mill Chowk. They then spread the Pakistan flag on the road. While police officials tried to make way for the bus, the activists insisted that it could leave only after passing over the flag. They then forced the driver to take the bus over it. Later, they burnt the flag and dispersed.

Ours aren't armed. :yay:

So before you ask, no we are not having an exchange. :angry:

Someone somewhere will politicize any incident (no matter how serious and ergo not meant to be used for political mileage) for a kick.

It just makes our much more cooler to fight :D

Good Job guys.. Can't spread the love, might as well spread the hatred.

{/Sarcasm mode off }
